This laptop normally sells for £849 with a 1yr warranty at most places and a 2yr warranty at John Lewis but today they are selling it for £774 with a 3yr warranty, so if you want one you should order quickly. Before today they were selling it for £849 but would price match Currys' price of £774, today they are offering the £774 price themselves without having to get a price match.

Pixmania sell it for £667.01 using the code: CYBERWEEK, after 3.15% topcashback it comes down to £646 but you only get 1yr warranty. Topcashback doesn't have pixmania listed at the moment but they were yesterday and i'm sure they will be back within the next few days.

Like it very much.
If I hadn't already blown all my money.
Spend the extra, get a pro. Good price for the air though.
Anyone tell me which Passmark CPU Benchmark I5 this is?

I would fully agree I use a 2014 Pro whilst my partner has the 2014 Air, but I also agree with a recent journalist article that other than the screen, most people won't notice much difference in modern tasks.

I don't understand the huge screen bezel? I would buy one but it turns me off so much
Compared one in store to MBP retina screen with the same word document.
It's poor by comparison and felt like it'd result in more eye strain if used all day like I have to.

Size and battery life must be important criteria to consider this model. If you're already budgeting at this level then I'd definitely suggest trying out the MBPr just in case you think it's worth paying the extra.
