What’s the difference on an American keyboard to an English? Surely both QWERTY?

eGlobal Central , Chinese seller, £694.99 . Would anyone be daft enough to buy one ? . Best of luck if you do !

Heat added thanks!

Some of the peripheral keys are different ( %, @," , and a few others from memory) Not a dealbreaker , but Import duties, VAT , no feasible way of returning and no EU warranty are a definite dealbreaker .

Is this seller reputable? They were well known for selling grey imports and that is why I have never bought from them.

THe @ key is where the 2 key is, missing £ etc. If you know where the keys should be on a UK keyboard then it doesn't matter providing you are using English UK settings in Windows.
For some however it is a huge deal breaker.
Some people are using @ and £ very frequently, so you would expect them to know where those keys are are without being labeled. I'm using a US layout keyboard right now. YOu need to know it can never be changed without taking the laptop apart.
On second thoughts, you might be able to replace the key caps, no idea.

I bought a LG G6 from them and sent the faulty phone back to them at my own expense within the 30 day limit. They say there’s nothing wrong with it and are charging me €80 to return a still faulty phone ( toohot to keep in my pocket and worse battery life than my LG G3). Avoid at all costs. Definitely not worth the saving which is wiped out by their charges. I returned a Oneplus5 to Oneplus and received an almost immediate refund. They are an honourable company and I mistook assumed these were too. How wrong I was

Well, for what it's worth I took the plunge, and ordered one .. Paid by Visa Credit Card as a safeguard, choose basic (free) shipping.

Had regular emails from eGlobalCentral culminating in a UPS tracking number.

Package arrived today safely, and as described.

Haven't opened it yet, as it's a Xmas present for daughter, so does anyone know what charger is in the box ?

Is it a 110v or 240v ? I seem to recall my Mac Book Pro having both in the box.
