Tempted but I think I need windows due to the software I use , shame

Superb price. This will sell out really fast.

Lusdot - you can always use bootcamp to put windows on too. Plenty of space for both os.

just ordered, crazy price. many thanks. being delivered tomorrow.

should have said heat added :-)

Nearly bought one for the sake of it... couldn't justify it though!

Selected next day delivery but says 'Sorry! We are unable to offer flexible delivery in your area' - does this mean its sold out?

Fab price for a MacBook air

15" MacBook Pro at £869 (£929 for the 750GB) also, paid £1200 a couple of months ago but needed it then unfortunately . Great prices

Ordered for the sake of it! :-0 how old a model is it anyway?

2011 models

It's a July 2011 model

Ordered!!! Got one for the office, at this price its a steal. Will look good for our new CFO.

Yes. The main thing is that your CFO looks the part. Doesn't matter if they're any good or not!!

Heat added, bang goes my resale value (bought in Sept 2011, cost me about £800 after using educational discount and selling the £65 itunes voucher). RRP was £999.

Just two things to note with bootcamp on these models.

Only Win 7 (and presumably win 8 in the near future) are officially supported, XP is out of the window (probably a good thing).
The boot time into Windows is very slow for an SSD. A lot of sites put this down to AHCI being disabled in Windows on these machines, not sure if it's accurate or not but it's a common problem. Not terrible but probably takes about 90 seconds to swap OSs.

Trust me, he thinks a Mac is something you eat with fries and a coke. He still has a nokia 6210, classic phone as it is, i think he could do better these days.

You can also claim free vouchers (£50 Currys/PC World voucher, £70 Entertainment voucher or £80 Data/Healthcheck voucher)

paid £100 over this for a used one not long ago

Cant find a store in the Essex area with stock. Sure this isnt an out of stock item? I have many rows with currys with regards deals such as these that no one can ever get. Those who actually get one can you please update this thread.

OOS

Fastest rise in heat ever??

Gutted I missed this, would have finally tempted me to try a mac

OOS

Same as you Chelmsfordman. I've entered searches for Essex and Suffolk and oos throughout

Sold out

wow that was quick. Was in stock when i was searching for a store to pickup from.

Heat for price but 120 GB SSD can be filled easily and I think this model does not have a SD card slot so no way to expand storage. If you bootcamp as well then 120GB not enough.

Better to use Parallel's

I have tried all over the country, cannot find one in stock in Wales or Birmingham. Good deal if you can get it.

managed to get one online about 20 mins ago, cheers !!

gutted went to order as was in stock and card failed due to security, and now cant order as out of stock. would have through they would have saved my order

the 13" Air is still available at 649, for me a better deal as the 11" screen is too small in my eyes.

Damn, none in Yorkshire ;o(

SAME HERE!
used 4 diffrent cards!

Anyone who gets this and changes their minds, I will happily buy it off them. Just missed out on this cracking deal. Thanks OP.

It isn't clear but these are ex-display models, though still boxed and excellent condition. I spoke to a friend of mine who works there, I still tried to buy, but it was OOS.

What?

This also seems to be a very good offer, slightly more expensive though... £730 for an i7 macbook pro 13" late 2011 model - APPLE MacBook Pro MD314B/A 13.3" Laptop
