i5-2415M processor, Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, Memory: 4GB, Hard drive: 500GB

Selling for £999.00 on the Apple Store.

As the website says, use code PIXUK12FEB to get £918

I'm sure the Apple haters will likely be tempted to press the cold button - but I would rather hear if there is a cheaper price as i'm about to press buy

£924.60 actually price, after adding £6.60 delivery.

Yeah, I'm going to pay £400 more for a laptop of the exact same specs just with a fancy operating system.

Good deal, but my experience with pixmania was terrible. Just due to delivery times been terrible...

Also it comes to £918 + £6.60 (delivery) = £924.60

Agree with 'graphicgiraffe' too although I have a mac for the same spec it will cost a few hundred less, your paying for the design and there OS system.

Kind of predictable ... I thought this was a bargain site. Nobody posts a better deal, but votes cold anyway ... ahh well it's only a number

I have an i5 MacBook Pro, actually. I also have an i5 Acer. Both run exactly the same, again excluding the operating system.

Personally a good deal, means we can make more then £0 on a base spec Pro in our independent store..... Thanks OP.

Given the last comment - you actually would pay £400 more ... so is this a good deal for a Macbook Pro or not?

OP keep checking the Apple store refurb site. They had many i5 13 inch macbook pros for 779. After quidco and a cashback credit card comes to almost 750 quid. Apples customer service is v good and they all come with a 1 yr warranty.

Love apple and worth every penny, amazing steel body and great o/s, Takes 2 seconds to shut down, but would NEVER buy from pixmania. cold

LOL at the idiot saying they wouldnt pay £400 more yet they already have one hahahahaha muppet!

Just PM'd you.

cheers

Excluding the operating system ? , For me thats why i buy apple computers , I dont think anybody would spend a grand on a macbook running windows even if they do look good !

engadget.com/201…12/ People do! Haha....Well, on clones.

Waste of money. Buy a normal windows laptop at half the price with a better spec.
COLD

If you don't like pix mania and trust quidco, this is currently £999 plus £100 quidco at pc world

you can get two decent laptops for this price and can install OSX on one if u want to

Every bloody thread, change the record...

Or you could get 3 Acers

I'm not an Apple hater but I would go for a cheaper better spec Windows machine over this.
I'm not sure the Pro has a big enough USP to justify the extra cost.

The Mac Air on the other hand is pretty unique given the size and weight.
