Wow 😳
For that price, I'd hope Office is included!
When i spend 2 grands on an item, I would buy it from direct Apple and don't mind paying £100 extra...

Lol when you cant afford an apple product
The touch bar mac's have gotten pretty negative reviews. Have a look across YouTube. Especially given the price they seem to have issues and be lacking in certain areas. Tomorrow is the Apple conference where they might give the line a slightly refresh so I would just wait.

Its a good point made. There is a non touch bar version which you can get so would be even cheaper. Thanks for making a constructive comment

Very very unlikely as they only just had a refresh.

This guide is usually spot on:

After having bought (and returned) every competing device on the market, the MacBooks are years ahead of every other machine. Everything else is plagued by build quality issues and poor customer service.

At at least with Apple, even if something does go wrong, you know you'll get good service.

Most recent device was an XPS 15, which had horrendous backlight bleed (so bad you could see the effect on greys), screen pinching all the way around the bezel, terrible screen colour uniformity, crunching keys, borked wifi (a real problem on the XPS, due to the killer wifi), just to name a few. Oh and that 19 hour battery? Not a chance. 6 max when web browsing.

Id had a mac prior (and windows for every device before that), and realised very quickly it was a big mistake going to windows for a premium laptop. The two terms don't fit in the same sentence.

Id pay the extra all day long after the stress and hassle I've had from trying to buy a laptop for uni in October (I've been trying to buy one since June!)
I'm not a huge fan off the iPhone however the MacBook is years ahead. Just sold my pro 15 from 2011 for 600. It weighed in at 2.5kg which was reason for sale. The newer o vs weigh less. So resale is extremely good. Now time to find my next MacBook. Tempted by the 12 however for a little bit more can get 13 pro. Decisions decisions.

Im not sure why. Surely it should be voted as to whether its saving money and not on someones personal preference / personal affordability? At the end of the day this deal is saving money compared to buying direct with Apple. Saving £££ is what this website is about! Just baffled tbh.
It's always nice to hear Apple fanboy comments.
I've been looking around at laptops recently and from what I've read Apple Mac's aren't as good as they used to be. The keyboard is crap, they have limited ports and there have been issues with them, yet there are still certain people out there who will stick by Apple no matter what.
There are better machines out there, as long as you're willing to look about and pull your finger out your a£rse.
