While true, a lot of people like to disown an entire OS based on issues that can only be described as user error and they also like to make a big thing about how they are switching.

The ones not in that group who actually know how to utilize a system such as this, I have no problem with.

Sure, it is a PC but think about it. Because Apple hold such a tight grip on what hardware goes in these things, you often end up with higher quality components than those found in other non-Apple laptops. Some people like them for the physical styling and aesthetics too.

Also, when I just looked, quidco says you get 3% off electronics - so where does your 5.5% come from?

You are right - it looks like Quidco have reduced their cashback for Pixmania. You can still get 5.5% though by going through TopCashBack (another free-to-join cashback site thats well worth joining):
