A fully-featured laptop inside a single inch of sturdy aluminium, the MacBook Pro is designed for maximum performance in minimum size. Your high definition videos, photos and games will look even more brilliant on the sharp 13.3-inch high resolution display.

Key benefits:

Your new MacBook Pro will arrive with OS X Lion, but will be eligible for an upgrade to OS X Mountain Lion on release. Mountain Lion introduces innovative features including the all new Messages app, Notification Center, system-wide Sharing, AirPlay Mirroring, Game Centre and the enhanced security of Gatekeeper. With iCloud built into the foundation of OS X, Mountain Lion makes it easier than ever to keep your content up to date across all your devices.
The MacBook Pro features a rapid 2.9GHz Intel Core i7 processor, 8GB of memory and a long-lasting 7 hour battery. Store your digital photos, music and video on the large 750GB hard drive and enjoy them at the touch of a button with the Front Row interface. Connect wirelessly to Bluetooth enabled peripherals and go online while you’re out and about with AirPort Extreme 802.11n Wi-Fi.
The FaceTime HD camera gives you 720p resolution — perfect for the brilliant LED-backlit display — along with improved low-light performance. You and your friends can make HD calls from one new MacBook Pro to another. You can also make video calls to other Intel-based Mac computers, iPhone 4 or the new iPod touch.
For boosted graphics performance the new MacBook Pro features Intel’s HD Graphics 4000 processor which includes an on-chip engine for video encoding and decoding. Built for 60% faster performance than previous models - you’ll experience video playback and FaceTime calls that are smoother, more responsive and truer to life.
With the new Thunderbolt port, you can daisy-chain as many as six devices, including your display, to create a fully-fledged workstation. Two USB 3.0 ports and a FireWire 800 port let you connect your iPad, iPod, iPhone, digital cameras, and external hard drives.
The MacBook Pro also features an advanced trackpad with wonderfully intuitive Multi-Touch technology. You can flip through photos, enlarge text and adjust an image using just your fingers. Your hands have room to spread out on the full-size keyboard with crisp, responsive keys. And it’s illuminated so you can see what you’re typing in low-light settings. Navigation is simple and intuitive thanks to the multi-touch trackpad, which doubles as a button.
The new SDXC card slot supports up to 64GB cards and makes it a snap to transfer all those photos to and from your MacBook Pro, so you can edit and share them on the spot.
Software included:
iLife (includes iPhoto, iMovie, GarageBand))
Mac OS X Lion (includes iTunes, Time Machine, Quick Look, Spaces, Spotlight, Dashboard, Mail, iChat, Safari, Address Book, QuickTime, iCal, DVD Player, Photo Booth, Front Row, Xcode Developer Tools)

Think you'll be lucky to get heat on ANY apple deal at the moment, after all they have managed to create a whole new army of apple haters with the attempt to destroy competition through the courts.

I think we can get them to record cold on HUKD as a mark of our protest.

Samsung broke the law, Apple won, get over it.

I wouldn't personally buy this, but it IS £125 cheaper than from Apple direct, and with a 3 year warranty, so voted hot on those grounds.

"Samsung broke the law, Apple won, get over it."

Yes and i suppose you don't think the American court is biased unlike the British courts who threw this out? If you support Apple after these actions then you are crazy, if other companies had adopted this protectionist approach we wouldn't have half the products available today. I own a few apple products so i wasn't an apple hater but i like my tech & no way would i ever consider buying a product again from a company that is trying to stifle innovation in this way.

Apple fan boys crying grow up.

Technically you are right, the court in America did fined Samsung to have copied Apple on a couple of industry standard things. Oh and those things are actually Android not Samsung, yes samsung uses android. Apple winning isnt a very intelligent comment though, and what is there to "get over"?
I'm not an apple hater and am actually typing this on my iPad. Winning a court battle on home soil (which is to be appealed by the way) is not the be all and end all. Patenting a recangular shape with rounded edges is rediculous. Think the ruling might be a case of national interest.
These are just consumer products at the end of the day.

The deal isn't bad really with a 3 year warranty.

Ha! Ha! More witless fandroid whining, Samsung copied Apple whoelsale, the courts told them to stop it and pay Apple damages. Hopefully the damages get tripled next week. If you think copying is "innovation" then you have no clue and no opinion worth listening to.

I would suggest it is you who has no clue (quite common for a person who has blind loyalty to one brand). Apple didn't invent the mp3 player or the tablet PC they just applied great design to existing ideas, something that Samsung obviously has learned to do better.

This is hot I wish I had the cash

"destroy competition" & "protest"... those are things to get over. Android's base UI doesn't look or act like iOS, it's a great OS on it's own, in fact I love how open and versatile it is. Samsung's own UI and features added to Android have some striking resemblance to iOS interface.

Windows phone 7 is innovation, granted I can't stand it, but it's their own work. Apple aren't trying to stifle them are they?!

And the main reason I say get over it is, What relevance does it have to this deal?! People should not be voting cold on this deal because of their opinion of Apple or the recent court case, they should be voting based on it's price in relation to other retailers and the added warranty. Too often in these comments I see people bashing based on irrelevant information. Shouldn't it be about the deal?!

madkub, you are right of course, but I have to say that these unprovoked legal assaults from the Apple purely because Samsung has the skill to innovate is nothing short of appalling though. Samsung are nothing if not original.

I agree that hot uk deals website is about the quality of the deal and give people info about good deals. Not about whether the brand is worthy of our cash. Heat added. For what it's worth.

Apologies for the stupid question, but who are DSG and how do I get the pricematch?
