A faily good price for a brand new 2015 Macbook Pro Retina (compared with other stores)

Agreed, it's bottom of the Macbook Pro range with only 128GB SSD, and it's an Apple - but I couldn't find a cheaper price for a brand new boxed MF839B/A from a seemingly reputable seller.

Check your eBay account to see whether you have a 10% off voucher.

Just purchased for around £735.

If you could easily swap the SSD i would be all over it. Out
Bargain if you can live with 128Gb.
Some 3rd party SSD makers may release compatible replacements soon, but expect them to be relatively expensive.

How easy is the 16gb ram upgrade? Anyone know?

You can't (if you're not taking mic) also 128gb is actually ok as Mac OS is only about 15gb

That's Interesting. Is there an advantage over a normal 128gb SDXC card?

It is - who knows what they mean - that there is a 16GB version? Or that the CPU supports up to 16GB?

It's £940 at Apple?

Does it have a parallel port for a printer?

Not a bad price, but note it could be a used customer return -(open box) which may affect the warranty.

You can, it's a standard connector and the latest version of Mac OS X supports TRIM on 3rd party SSDs.

That's not correct, the 2015 MacBooks use custom PCI-e SSD cards:
https://www.ifixit.com/Store/Mac/MacBook-Air-13-Inch-and-MacBook-Pro-Retina-13-Inch-Early-2015-SSD/IF188-108-3

There are no third party compatible SSDs for it at this time. Likewise, RAM is soldered to the motherboard.

Just to note, that price is for the Macbook AIR not the PRO. I'm still interested though... Ditto with wanting to know the difference between UK and USA keyboard? Also does it affect warranty? and if I wanted to get hold of applecare?

The main difference you'll notice is the enter key. It's a different shape. Also obviously no £ on it but, as long as the keyboard layout is set to UK on the software it'll work with the shift and 3 key. Because of the difference with the enter key the | key is in a different place as well.
However, most people say the US keyboard layout is better than UK and European layout. I have used a US keyboard layout and you get used to it easily then when using a UK one I was pressing enter in the wrong place (but again have got used to it).

Ah okay. Well it's still a standard connector (PCI-e), won't be only before there are 3rd Party ones that will work.

I found that strange and you'd think with the dominance of Twitter, they'd have sorted it out by now.

It's Apple Arrogance in my opinion.
