Using the £40 off voucher for spends over £400 it is possible to get £80 off the standard price of the two higher spec macbooks and £60 off the bottom of the range version. Plus Comet offer 3.5% quidco as well for an even better saving. I think this is far and away the cheapest you will find a new macbook at the moment.

Voucher code = SUMMER40 (thanks to the OP of the voucher code). I have tried adding the voucher in the basket and it accepts it.

Standard shipping is included in the price

The macbooks are the new models but they have one macbook pro which is the older model which has now been replaced.

Was going to go for this myself but found a new refurb model on the apple website for £799 minus 3% quidco. Plus when it arrived the ram in it is 2GB instead of 1GB, happy days

Online only though and I think the voucher only lasts through to the end of this week

£829 model comes in at £722.79 after quidco

Meant to say I found a refurb black model which is the £949 model as a refurb for £799 (plus 3% quidco) direct from Apple. There are no more of that model left but they do have one white 2.16Ghz (£829 down to £699!) and some older 2Ghz models at the moment. There is probably only one or two of that 2.16 model so run, run!!!

(Beware the return charges if you change your mind though, Apple want to charge you £60 to collect it!! They are having a laugh on that one!)

This is getting some cold votes now and I would appreciate if people left comments as to why they vote cold. Seemed like a good deal to me if you are after a MacBook

perhaps it needs to be a lot cheaper than usual for it to be voted hot...

i think comet and lots of other retailers are trying to shift them because apple are upgrading their range and introducing new look computers next month. thats why you'll see a lot of mac computers out of stock as they try to shift this soon to be discontinued range...

If your a student you can get same model straight from apple for £713.23 plus quidco.

Going through a student link with apple you can get the same macbook for £695.02 after quidco, or the cheapest macbook for £586.24.
Plus it includes 3 years warranty.

because apple are upgrading their range and introducing new look … because apple are upgrading their range and introducing new look computers next month

Have you got a source for this information. Spec, Pics, etc.

Thanks
