Anyone receiving a message saying if you didn't vote more things to be hot your account would be blocked? One way of increasing profits via affiliate links.
Hi @Alansmithee No part of the message asked you to vote hot on deals. We'd never ask members to do that.

We do not insist that users leave a comment when they vote but if we see a user voting cold on many deals, we believe it would be beneficial to the poster of those deals that they get told why the voter believes the deal deserved the cold vote.

This is for the benefit of the poster but also for all the other users trying to determine whether the deal is good.

We have new users joining this site all the time. If they take the plunge to post their first deal and it goes cold without any comments as to why, that is really disheartening.

The Amazon page says this product is called the JJCALL FD-02, but this does not appear in the MFI (Made for iPhone) directory on Apple’s website.

Are you sure that FD-02 is not the charger itself? The cable is the thing that would be MFI-certified as that's the part with the Lightning connector.

Good price for this combo pack. Just a warning, I’ve been using USB C charging on my 13 Pro and the battery health has taken a beating - many others reported the same thing, mine is down to 88% now after a year, most iPhones I’ve had are at or very near 100% after this same time. I can’t be sure if it’s the 13 Pro (which others reported the same), the charging speed/cable or a combination of both over time - the iPhone doesn’t even charge that fast but still gets hot.
No idea about other phones as this is my first pro but can confirm to have the same issue.

This is definitely not MFI certified
    What does that mean

I don’t seem to find this company in Apple MFI list mfi.apple.com/acc…ers? How it be falsely claimed

Not worth the risk. It’s not certified so I would not risk it tbh. (edited)

checked on the Apple MFI list last night, not on the approved list. Should be reported to Amazon for false advertising.

They are not the only ones, so many 'so called MFI certified' cables are listed on Amazon.
    Be warned.

Good price for plug and wire

Or maybe it’s cos you’re charging to 100% which is not great for the battery? (edited)

What does MFI mean in terms of the charger/cable? And is it any better/worse than a 'standard' PD charger and cable?
It means Apple certified in theory so should be better. Any standard PD charger is fine for Apple but there is no ‘standard cable’ (it’s proprietary) supplied as it’s a USB C to Lightning - I have a non certified USB C to Lightning and it’s fine but not as fast as I’d expect, the genuine one is much faster. The Apple OEM one is quite thick and works fine as you’d expect - you can pair this with any good quality USB C charger. (edited)

    Certified by who????
If it’s MFI it’s by Apple.
