Varying discounts on Apple products for Royal Mail staff.
I have used this as I work for Royal Mail.
Read the T&C on the intro page at the given URL.
You are required to tick a box on the page to confirm you
are eligible but I was not asked to provide any proof to that effect.
Some example savings :-
2.5GHz Mac mini £469.20 instead of £499.00
2.3GHz Mac mini £638.40 instead of £679.00
21.5-inch: 2.7GHz iMac £1,080.00 instead of £1,149.00
27-inch: 3.4GHz iMac £1,644.00 instead of £1,749.00
11-inch : 128GB Macbook Air £798.00 instead of £849.00
13-inch : 128GB Macbook Air £891.60 instead of £949.00
Quad-Core and Dual GPU Mac Pro £2,299.20 instead of £2,499.00
Discounts aren't so good on the iPads as they sell so well at full price but if you want one direct from Apple then you can save £8.80 off each of the two iPad Air
£16.45 off each of the iPad2
No saving on the iPad Mini

Mac Book Pro 13-inch: 2.5GHz £939.60 instead of £999.00
Mac Book Pro 13-inch: 2.6GHz with Retina display £1,408.80 instead of £1,499.00

iPod Touch 16GB £187.20 instead of £199.00
iPod Touch 64GB £309.60 instead of £329.00
iPod Nano 16GB £121.20 instead of £129.00

There are likely more but the above examples should suffice.

As you can see there are some small and some large discounts available depending on the total spend and the popularity of the item.

Please refrain from making negative comments about these products, that's not what we are here for.

I thought this was a good deal, shows what I know.

Bit of a double whammy though - people here hate Apple and Royal Mail.

I hope anyone buying from valuebasket gets good customer service, personally i'd rather buy direct and have more peace of mind

do you get what you pay for ?

Royal mail discounts are quite poor overall, but if your buying anyway then its a saving.

Wonder what it is like, Royal Mail staff buying this, and also knowing somewhere your colleagues who you've never met will destroy it whilst getting it to you!

I'd rather have my item delivered by Royal Mail then my new pc left In garden by yodel or the Mrs's iPod never turn up at all with my hermes.

Not a UK seller- Looks to ship from Hong Kong, so you will be stung with the VAT.

Heat added love apple and Royal Mail are the only couriers that always deliver on time without damage to my parcels people commenting on things they know nothing about as usual!

Any saving is better no saving Heat added

don't forget the 0% interest they offer as well

Being a postie id make sure anything valuable would be special delivery or tracked, anything else is just bagged and lumped around without any kind of tracking betwen depots.

tracking , like recorded delivery isn't worth a jot
the only service to use for anything of value is Special Delivery

Tracking is for businesses anyway, so a buyer will be covered.

hiya pasty,

my first comment was about your comment on royal mail.

my second which was a new paragraph was to the op (as it was addressed) explaining why some people vote against apple things repeatedly. it wasn't suggesting that you don't like apple things at all as I had no idea then of your own opinion.

ipod touch 16g on here £187 down from £199....... shops in the high street £179...go figure
