Wow these have been obsolete for years.

These are still current line, they sit alongside the new 4K box but runs all the same apps etc. If your after one it’s cheaper than Apple refurb so heat from me!

I have one sitting unused it's not been on for a year, prefer my SMART TV it has better functionality.
All the young uns just play to TV from the mobile and avoid all this box nonsense. Makes sense to me.
Just ordered the 4k one so these old ones should be cheaper now.

Funny that. Even Myth Busters won’t put a shine on the Smart TV turd that my TV contains. Which for being a previously top of the range model is annoying.
This offers a far better experience than many built in systems. Without changing TV just to get a better UI.

Which is fine for you, but if you’re invested in the Apple/iTunes ecosystem this is the best option for you.

Also, any HD movies you buy on this will be upgraded to 4K when available, ready for when you inevitably have to upgrade

I was also, hence why I bought one but I left Apple "ecosystem" about 2 years ago and am very happy not to be "tied" to anything.

There are better products available.
Local store deal not available by tesco direct also in Bournemouth and Poole

for someone how left their ecosystem years ago you don’t half pop up a lot in Apple related threads. Maybe you miss it?
£129 on Tesco website, also good for those that can’t find any stock in store.
Saw this in tesco St Helens yesterday. Don't need it myself but have some heat.

I have the same and sending the display to the TV works great. I also use Now tv and it saves having another box or LG TV. I’m looking to buy another for the front room but the 4k version.
