Can this be used on other devices that aren't Apple?
Decent price, paid this much for mine from Apple. Third party adapters are garbage and caused wifi issues with MBP.

I had the same issue, does the official one work OK for you?

Yeah, no issues ever using it so far. Tossed the 3rd party garbage into a closet.
Was looking at buying the Anker version of this for a couple of pound cheaper, I'm assuming this works with all Windows and mobile phones with USB-C too?

I know it's all supposed to be a standard but this is Apple so have to double check before I buy.

do buy decent ones as the usb-c spec has an ic to specify how much voltage to push thru the cable and giving that the usb 3.1 g1 usb-c spec can push 100w (20v x 5amps - the 5 amps is the killer here), you do want half decent ones

Anker should be ok

My thoughts exactly that's why I'm avoiding all the cheap ones, plus I specifically want a short cable type adaptor like this and the Anker ones are.
This is shocking an equivalent USB OTG adapter is £1. Apple are robbing people
Is this a joke? It's a good one
