My first post!

Brave move to do anything Apple for a first post!

Don't get me wrong, I like Apple and have had several ipods/phones and been more than happy. But the prices they charge for something as simple as this! Don't get me started on that HDMI cable for ipad 2.................

How many USB ports on the air?

£19 seems to be the going rate, even if Apple put the price up themselves.

If you don't need the Apple branded one you can get just as good ones cheaper:

Just make sure you don't get this blue one as it only runs at USB 1.1 speeds (10BASE-T).

Do Apple really sell laptops without Ethernet sockets?

I think my old Air only had 1 USB and no, there isnt an ethernet. At the time I couldn't believe I had to fork out £20+ for one of these after spending £800 on the laptop. It was very thin and light though :-)

and not even gigabit it seems.....
