Off topic I know but there was mention of Vitality. I’m an advocate for their private health cover. We aren’t a super fitness family but we still enjoy lots of benefits just from my wife and I doing a little exercise and trying to reach daily steps goals. This year we will have received 1-2 x free Cineworld family ticket every month worth about £38. We’ve saved a total of £750 on 2 x separate Champneys one night hotel stays. I’ve saved £102 this year on 2 x Garmin products due to the 40% discount. And last year I saved £800 when buying 2x mountain bikes and another £60 when buying running shoes. There are other smaller benefits and discounts that we get too. The odd free coffee when I rarely stumble across a Starbucks near me, 20% discount from Ocado (healthy food only) which admittedly brings their prices in line with other supermarket but you get points from that shopping to help towards meeting you annual target.

Plus I’ve used their included GP video consultation a few times which saves leaving the house to get a GP diagnosis and sitting in a doctors surgery. We have made 2 x claims and both have gone through smoothly. Perhaps not for all but for our circumstances, it works very well. And for anyone who walks a lot daily, even for their employment or just in their commute then reaching the maximum benefits would very easy.
Still waiting for Black Friday.

Not completely true. I am also on Vitality paying £58.75 and am not entitled to it as I’m not paying £60 and over.

Is this new? I pay £57 and got it about 10 months a go...

I'm leaving though.. a lot of cash for coverage that you get on the NHS without the excess.

Not sure how new it is, within the last 6 months perhaps or slightly longer. I’d been holding off buying a new one and was planning to take it out through Vitality once I felt my S1 had seen better days. Typical really and kind of scunnered me as it’s not exactly cheap.

I’ve been looking at Bupa plans since, definitely seem to get a lot more for your money.
Code wouldn’t work for me (I already have a very account and significant credit limit). Support were useless and couldn’t give me a straight answer. Ended up so frustrated I just asked them to close my account!
Sorry to be a pooper, but the Apple Watch is still not worth the buy. It’s simply not practical to charge a watch everyday. Especially a watch that cost 400 smackers .

You need to select bnpl 12 months, then enter the code. I was struggling as well, but managed to get it working.

The option wasn’t there when I logged in. Support said my account wasn’t eligible, but couldn’t say why or if anything could be done about it. Bought one on eBay instead with the PYRAMID offer 👌🏻

Yes, it wasn’t appearing initially and then all of a sudden appeared later. Now they are saying my order has been rejected because it is out of stock but on my account it still says order being processed and no rejection email as well.
The £50 doesn't initally display off your order when you place it, I spoke with them this and it goes onto your account in a month or so time (12th December I was told).

Which seller did you use on eBay? Want to buy one but want to make sure is authentic.

I remember thinking a similar thing when I owned a Nokia phone in 2007. A few androids and iphones later the charging thing has never been an issue. Same with my watch - not sure there's a better watch out there for the features

Either way and whatever point of view - the OP deserves credit for a good deal. HotUKopinions this ain't...

Same here. Customer support said that I haven't used my account enough and therefore wasn't eligible for this deal. I am a customer who has spent a significant amount with them over the years, who waits for offers, always pays on time and has a zero balance on my account. They have given me a large credit limit and are always sending me messages to up the limit but when I want to purchase something relevant, I am not allowed.

I told them to close my credit account down and remove me from all their marketing channels. They send me a letter once a month asking me to spend money, then turn me away when I’m ready!
Hot, I bought the small one for my wife thanks!
‘A technical problem has occurred please try again later’ so unable to purchase. So annoying 😩

This is why I avoid Very- meeting the criteria for codes then they add some further flimsy ones. Had to argue the toss for weeks to get credit back previously and will never attempt again. Speaking to CS is a lottery also

Yep good deal. I have existing very account although not used in a while and received an email last week with the code. This was enough of a discount for me as initially waiting for bf. ordered Sunday and arrived Tuesday. It’s now tucked away as an Xmas present.
Hmmm feeling like might hold till Black Friday?

I charge mine every three days. I know it’s different for some, like phone usage etc.
Great deal!
Got a Fitbit that I love - charge one every 6 days. I would really like the Apple Watch though does anyone know how well it tracks exercise and steps in comparison?
