No stock anywhere. Don’t expect this to ship at that price!
Nice find but never gonna happen
Out of stock. I doubt this is a legit deal as today is the launch day so all retailers should have at least some stock.
might be worth nipping in to argos - you never know
Argos are selling these on a instore only basis. There usual glitch, however this time their town incompetence has saved them
I’m definitely keeping my eye open for ‘in stock’ to show... but Argos will hold little to low stock of the ‘higher’ priced Apple watch models. Good find though.

Nice find
To add to my last, Argos reckon these watches have 42 in screens, so best buy yourself some weights to work out whilst you are there.

Take a look at The Verge review, 4G doesn't work as expected, at least not right now.
Would go hot if any stock, hence really cold
Anyone expecting a decent price drop on the series 2 today? Still listed more than the series 3 and assume they will want to get rid of stock.

Ha! Yes, and also they reckon that the battery lasts longer with "typical" usage than "low"!
the strap is worth £200 or something by itself so would be a very good deal!
Well I’ve just reserved a (full price!) one for pick up at Apple Store later today. So can report back on the cellular performance etc
Argos have confirmed no stock at all on this. Why do they put them on if no stock
Either a cock up or false advertising
Here we go again a typical Argos miss price had many of these in the past.

Will be lucky to find series 2 in stock anywhere, particularly the stainless steel versions (which I have in series 0, but looking to upgrade to series 2). Still worth a punt around though.

Actually it is a Wi-Fi issue that stops the watch from switching to the LTE radio. It can be fixed by removing poor signal (bad) know Wi-Fi from the settings. See this article.

How much do you have to pay for EE?

How much do you have to pay for EE?

Free for six months then £5 per month thereafter. This is for 10gb. If you use more than that (can't imagine how) then you use your allowance from your normal plan.

Seems like good value and makes the EE contract plan for the watch seem incredibly expensive!

Hi why is this? I was hoping to pick up a space Grey 42mm series 2 cheap.
Series 2 is discontinued with the 3launch.

Where did you find this info, can't see it anywhere. Just the £25 a month contracts with discounted watch.

Ok found it in the faq:

Once you're connected you can add a 30-day smart watch plan, which you can buy through the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.

It’s free for six months with unlimited data, then 10GB a month for £5 a month.

Can’t be real deal as that’s about 70-80quid cheaper than anywhere else.
It’s actually about 400-500 pounds cheaper than anywhere else. It’s a stainless steel one.
It appears to be a placeholder price, you cannot check it’s availability anywhere. Went to my local Argos store too, ones that weren’t in stock you could order and pick up in 5 days. But this one you cannot.
I made a video review Link
