Another member just googling for "cheapest price " (I presume ?) . Failing to notice - or mention that Toby Deals are a poorly reviewed Chinese site with all the well known risks (customs duties , lack of warranty , no customer support no way of returning if duff etc etc ) .

I do wish members would do their research on these sites before posting " non deals " and if they still wish to post - then give the appropriate warnings to members who often haven't got a few hundred quid to gamble .

Most of our respected posters now make this clear in their posts . It should be a requirement .

There a similar price on another store with good feedback.
What is the warranty of the eBay Argos refurb?

Are you copying and pasting this, or typing it out?
Apple announcement on the 12th.
Series 4 is said to be announced....if you want a series 3 I’d wait till after the announcement as prices will have dropped

Now that is a valid question , No - I typed it out all by myself - have you a problem with my warnings about Chinese sellers ?

As a long time HUKD member and now an employee you have certainly read the frequent members stories in "Ask" and "Misc" (very upsetting in many cases ) asking for advice on how to return or make a claim against these sellers on an item they could not really afford and certainly cannot afford to be duff .

I would have thought you would share my concern, and support my view that all listings from Chinese sellers come with the appropriate warnings - I'm sure , if I remember rightly , you used to ?

Could you please check the deals of this seller on HUKD, most of them seems hot here? Some deals even got above 1000 degrees of heat? Could you explain, a deal is a deal, and op puts time and effort to post a deal and making it a hot or cold is in hands of users and not a single person.

Toby deals isint on the list of authorised Apple resellers published by Apple.com. Any website/shop selling Apple products not on the published list by Apple, is probably a fake item, according to Apple themselves, not genuine Apple products. You can find the authorised Apple resellers names on the official Apple website. .co.uk for UK resellers, and .com for worldwide official resellers of Apple products.

There are models for each country market and you can’t say the product which sells in china is not genuine, see - apple.com/iphone/LTE/

I'm not saying that. I'm saying according to Apple, any website selling Apple products that aren't listed on the Apple website of official resellers of Apple products, are potentially selling fake Apple products. This is according to Apple, the makers of Apple products.

Then by your argument, every Apple product on eBay is potentially fake as well?

That’s quite a claim

I’ve rarely seen anyone actually being sold a Fake iPhone or Apple Watch as the real deal

Yes.

Its because fake products are so well made these days they're able to sell the fakes at rip off high prices to make the most money out of someone who wants a "bargain" usually not even knowing they bought a fake product, until they bring it to an authorised genuine reseller, sometimes finding out that few quid they thought they saved, turns out they actually wasted a load of money on a fake instead.

Please show me any example you can find where someone has bought what they thought was a genuine Apple Watch and it turned out to be fake.

Not where they found one for £40 and then it was a fake but where they paid around £200

I’ve never heard of anything like this.

I’ve never heard such a ridiculous claim before

Pop into any Apple store, and they can tell you all about there customers who go in to have an alleged Apple product repaired, and walk out fuming that they discovered they actually bought a fake Apple product not that much cheaper than a genuine Apple product, that can no longer be fixed, and have probably lost all their money in doing so

For someone who is a long term member with lots of posts, you’ve really got a loose grip on reality.

To save having to read your messages of fantasy further I’ll be putting you on ignore so don’t feel the need to reply

Have a good day
It’s funny how Mods approve this site yet when I tried to post an eBay seller with over 10,000 feedback positive they rejected it for being too risky

I’d love to read that.

Have a good day at work
Hi I know this is weeks old but I bought an iPad mini off Toby Deals as a present and it took a couple of weeks but all good. I bought a second one for myself and it wouldn’t switch on so I took it to Apple shop in Newcastle who swapped it for another one with no quibbles at all.
