Very useful for when i am surfing the waves!

Anyone know if you can use ths watch without the phone contract i.e. would it just work as a non-cellular model? Reason i ask is that i don’t want to change my mobile provider and so would want to wait until they start supporting these devices.

just got my free one after changing my health insurance to vitality

Oh god. Apple AND Very. This didn't stand a chance, did it?

Wow nice deal!

Bought the missus an aluminium cellular, but thinking I could flog it on eBay and get her this instead.

I enter the code and it appears to work but the price does not reduce, where do I see the 20% credit? Sorry if this is a silly question, I appreciate your help.

I will be honest with you I am not expecting 20 percent off Apple products especially the most recent products from any retailer
I believe this is a great deal. Don't get why it gets cold. Android fans? I never had issue with very. If you pay your bill at the time you won't have issues.

Thanks again, is the pic you posted saying if you enter the "MDRMW" code for Buy Now Pay Later that you will NOT get the 20% credit?

You will get in 5 weeks time

This is a good deal, but I don't think the stainless steel Apple Watches are a good buy. The device will last 2-3 years at most and makes for a very expensive wearable over that period of time. The resale value on Apple Watches is terrible as well, so while I reccomend them as a device, I think it's better to go with aluminium models.

Free?? I don't think so, how much are your subs?

The code ain't working for me on an Apple watch Cellular 38mm

It can be free - if you maintain the requisite level of exercise (reducing the monthly DD to nil).

If the OP has just received his watch, he still will have a long way to go to ensure it is free...

I have this watch, albeit 42mm

If you don't want to use Cellular its fine - it just won't be set up on the watch.

My 42mm rose gold is sitting at the docking untouched! Got it last Christmas but hardly even wear it. Got to get rid of it too.

I think you will find it is, depends on how active and how much exercise you do. if you do nothing then its £12.50 per month....but if you stay active and hit your targets the price decreases

Got the code working now was a browser problem even though I am on Vodafone I am tempted to get the cellular version as I plan to move to EE next year and with the discount it works out cheaper than the GPS version.

Decided to go for it and got greeted by this lovely message.

Are you a new customer?

That might be the reason when I first registered they did the same for me.

No business will give away 600 quid worth goods without making sure you are a genuine person and been living same address for a while.

Yeah going to give them a call it's manic at work so not had time yet.

Gave them a call they said yeah it's all ok and your order is now processed, got the £399 model with the olive strap so hopefully I qualify for the 20% back in a few weeks time.

I don't understand why this is cold, but I bought the 42mm cellular version listed at £429. Take away the £86 discount = £343.

Its worth noting, 80% of sales from apple have been in cellular and I think its for the very reason of having that extra flexibility of not having your phone. You will find on places like FB marketplace, people have changed their mind and decided to upgrade from GPS so do take that into consideration as I would imagine Cellular will hold onto its resale value better.

That puzzles me as well is it because it involves Very who don't exactly have a good returns policy? For me the risk to get £80 or so off an Apple Watch is worth it.

Nope you got the none 4g one my friend. I saw the advert and looked at it and it’s just the gps model.

Arranged a return of my 38mm and getting a 42mm instead, mate has the 42mm and it feels and looks a lot nicer.

Dealing with Very is interesting trying to state I cannot return it as I have used it for a day or two and it's outside of their home approval guarantee but the second I quoted the distance selling act and it's consumer law to return an item within 14 days they quickly back tracked.

They did state that I could be charged so unsure how they could even do this under consumer law but hey.
