Nice find.

I will trade in the old series 2 i have tucked away. Cheap little upgrade
1. Actual trade in value will vary dependant on device.

2. Offer only available in store.

3. If you trade in your old item ("Device") you will be eligible to receive trade in value in the form of a Currys PC World electronic gift card “eGift Card.
Do you have to buy the new watch there and then? Or can I keep the Voucher?
May as well read the thread here regarding trading in instead of duplicating everything hotukdeals.com/dea…475
Nice one. I’ve just upgraded to a series 4 and have an series 1 ‘spare’ was going to pass it on to the Mrs but may as well pay 100 to get this then I can wrap it up also think a 38mm will fit a bit better
I fancy a new version but I am still using my 1st Gen stainless steel with Ion-X glass and it hasn't got a mark on the screen. The battery lasts all day with ease and does everything I need.
I don't think the standard screen would cut it now, this one has been scraped on bricks, whacked into sharp corners and goodness knows what else and still looks like new.
Any idea when this deal might end?
Ooh my series 1 is still in absolute mint condition may have to jump to this

I spoke to someone on the phone to try and order one into a store for me and they didn’t know when it was ending. They weren’t very useful as couldn’t order to the store for me either!
Went to local store and they are very picky about the condition of the Watch - had a fully working 42mm Series 2 with some scratches (from normal wear) but they said the scratches meant is was classified "Not Working" so therefore only worth £3.

Maybe I just had the wrong staff in the wrong store - but a lot of hassle for the discount - worth it if you can get it - just depends on whether you have the time and inclination to roll the dice.

When did this happen though as they have only just added the ‘guaranteed £100’ part to the offer? (I was offered 20 for my series 1 in November)
I had the same just been down. I have a couple small scratches on the screen which I'd not bothered to claim on Apple care as they were so small but that was enough to make my offer £3 - deep scratches you see. Did feel like the staff were looking for the slightest thing to be picky about.

Unless your watch is pristine I wouldn't bother wasting your time, it's not really a deal just a way of getting people into the shop and hoping they will cave and buy the watch anyway.
I am going to buy mine tonight, I phoned customer services and they said under no circumstances they should refuse trade in unless the watch does not power on, they advised me to get the store staff to call the customer service team if they refuse to honor the trade in.

Going by this on music magpie for an example of a series 1 Apple Watch stainless steel no one is getting “£100 Guaranteed trade in value” from Currys; by looking at the comments from other member’s they are being offered a lot less. They shouldn’t be allowed to say “£100 Guaranteed trade in” when in the terms and conditions 1. Actual trade value will vary dependant on device. Very misleading from Currys.

£30 from music-magpie, and probably more if you try to sell it on eBay. £3 offer from Currys is a joke!

Most of the time the staff don’t have a clue anyway. Hoping to get to store tomorrow
*Update* Just went into the store and their portal doesn’t allow the trade-in when buying a Series 3 (only if you are buying a 4/5) so I only got £35 for my Series 1. However, they are honouring the extra £65 that is stated online. As I needed to order online to the store I won’t get the ‘manual refund’ until I pick it up tomorrow. Bit of a ball ache but got there in the end.

Thanks again for posting
Just got mine! Traded in a series one for £100 for a series 3. £100 for a new watch, thank you very much.
The advert def says series 3 as I checked.

Result today I went into another store and managed to get them to honour the deal. The guy wasn't keen at first but once I said customer services had confirmed and to check with them he caved and I now have a shiny new series 3 for my series 0 for just 100 quid.

Only problem is all the 42 inch had sold out but I'm not too fussed and if a 42 comes back in stock before Christmas I'll swap.

I got lucky apparently someone ordered it online and didn’t collect it

So they gave £100 for your watch or did they split it and refund against your purchase?

Only asking as they said they couldn’t give the ‘refund’ part of mine until the Watch gets to the store

Yes got a gift voucher for £100 and just used it against the total for new one. Dead simple.

How annoying they could only get £35 for my watch but are honouring the rest once the it arrives. They showed me the options on the trade in screen and it couldn’t be used against an S3 (only 4 or 5)

If they mess me about tomorrow I’ll kick off massively

It says on my voucher only for a four or five but I showed them the website and they tried it and it worked absolutely fine against an S3

Seems you got lucky then. They had 4 or 5 people trying to figure it out at one point. They never have a clue in Curry’s
I got the last black one in the store and it was showing none available to order.

He handled the trade in first which created a £100 gift voucher and then used the voucher code to ring through the watch. He did the same checks as the other guy but never even gave the tiny scratches on my screen a second glance unlike the other guy.

Just went and picked mine up. The store honoured the £100 so ‘refunded’ me the difference on pick up. I also got a £5 off voucher on the refund receipt so that was a bonus

Done well through Curry’s for Xmas:
Series 4 44mm £265 (Cyber Monday)
Series 3 38mm £100 (with S1 trade in)
