Pretty sure this isn't really needed, you already get at least 2 years cover under the EU.

I thought that was only if it is a non-accidental fault,

plus they are the best, most solid built device available in terms of hardware and on a softer not its impossible to compromise iOS. They 'just work' and never fail. So no need at all!

We'll in that case it is worth having. It's the non + version that's redundant.

In your store is it the + one? I saw the + one in my local but some of my friends say that it is just the normal one in theirs and the + one in others.

Actually it's up to 6 years . Sale of Goods Act 1979( Purchases prior to 1/10/15l) and Anything bought after 1/10/2015 falls under New more stringent Consumer Rights Act 2015., whic replaces not just sales of goods act, but also unfair contract terms act & supply of goods & services acts). Here's a summsty which.co.uk/con…act

apple products are def not high quality. ipad2 sent bk 3 times. ipad air repaired twice. charger cables replaced countless times. ipad pro so far ok. in contrast never had to send my tab s or any of my galaxy phones for repair.

That's not fault of device. Devices don't go on doggy sites or download content or boatware or not keep virus /firewall protection upto date or run request scans - people do. same thing would happen on any device. going on the Internet is not without risk. don't drive a car without learning to drive, so if don't do same on Internet shouldn't expect that you won't have the occasional crash!!!

applecare+ is full cover including damage, but i thought you could only purchase the "+" with a device less than 14 days old direct from apple as they checked the device for any physical damage?

That was my next question, what is the maximum age of your device before purchasing Apple after care? For instance my iPad is now 12 months old so probably not eligible in there t&c's?..however, my daughters iPad is only 3 months old and really should be allowed?

It was originally posted as AppleCare not AppleCare+, hence my comment. The time limit's 60 days.
