Compared to the 6x330ml cans of Appletiser for £3.00 @ ASDA/Morrisons deal, this should get HOT

well nice drink, reminds me of cider but you can still drive after a few cans, heat from me off to Costco, 90p each can in boots.

only know its 90p in boots as its free on o2 priority app, or it was.

Good thing about appletiser is it's the only fizzy drink as a treat for children that doesn't have added sugar in- just 100% apple juice.

Have you read the stats?

Typical Values per 100ml
Carbohydrates: 11 g
of which Sugars: 10.5 g

That equates to approx 10.5%.

Even Apple Tango is only just over 2%

Yes this is the better option if you're a member/can tag along with a member.

Thanks to nowmusicfan for posting that deal though and reminding me of the Costco offer.

Well the ingredients are only "Carbonated apple juice from concentrate (100%)" so it's the same sugar you'd find from eating an apple

Sugar is sugar. Natural and healthy aren't the same thing.

Completely disagree. This is natural occurring sugar from apples - don't believe all the "sugar is bad for you" rubbish - you will find with research that it's refined sugars that are the biggest problem. Would you not give this to a child because it has naturally occurring sugars in and instead prefer to drink 'sugar free' fruitshoots?! The world has gone mad!

Agreed - this is one of the best fizzy drinks out there due to the ingredients. There are also Innocent fizzy drinks, but I've not been able to find them in a multipack...

All sugar causes tooth decay. Sure 'natural sugars' may digest differently, but if you go bananas with it your teeth will still fall to pieces.

And that's the main reason why I would avoid giving a kid high sugar (no matter what kind) drinks.

Thanks

Actually research and basic chemistry show that sugar is sugar is sugar. Your body cannot tell the difference between sucrose from a packet of sugar, from fruit or whatever because molecularly they are same. Here is a study partially funded by the honey industry, showing that HFCS (not often used in the UK), regular table/refined sugar and all natural honey are practically the same.

This is a soft drink and is high in sugar, the fact that the sugars are all natural is irrelevant, it's pretty much just as bad for teeth. There is nothing wrong with fruit shoots and sweeteners as the research also shows. NHS - Sweeteners

However I also think there is no real harm in anything in moderation regardless of what's in it. Just be aware there's a lot of marketing revolving around "natural".

I would much rather have a can of this than either a can of Coke with all the added sugar plus crap or a can of Diet Coke with the added crap including Aspartame.

Eat whole foods and drinks where possible is what we should be doing. This is nice as a treat, similar to a glass of Tropicana orange juice or an Innocent smoothie in terms of sugar content.

Very good price but shame I don't shop at Costco!

Is this 8.38 inc vat
