Just ordered this from richersounds , got it for £1079, got them to price match rgbdirect, they have it for £1199 but using easter100 code it’s £100 off , richersounds took a further £20 due to the price match 😁, would have preferred to pay the price in this deal but still not bad considering the 6 year warranty.
Painfully slow for me that site. Ends up being £993 delivered with 1 year warranty so I wouldn't consider that cheap. £36 less.
https://www.av-experts.co.uk/samsung-mu7000-65-4k-ultra-hd-smart-tv-wi-fi-silver-led-tv.html Would anyone trust this website as it looks pretty cheap?
ue65mu9000 for 995 from krish av on ebay might still be available, don't know what the warranty is tho.
I have been at the wife for a new tv, showed her this deal and she wasn’t having it, went to Currys yesterday and showed her it, she quickly changed her mind, the picture was stunning, went back to this deal to buy and sold out 😡😡😡, Iv emailed to see if they will be getting more in, Idoubt they will, got to ask tho . As I fix TVs for a living I’m wouldn’t buy one without a 5 year warranty so this deal was ideal.
No it won’t.
Good price, but I don't see any mention of a five year warranty on their site, so it's probably just one year (which will also rule out a John Lewis price match).
I just bought it 2 weeks ago, overall very impressed, but i hate the light bleed around the bezel, it kinda annoying. But it's not visible when watching movies or gaming. Ive got the PS4 Pro hooked up and its awesome. Netflix on 4k and Dolby vision is crystal clear. Webos it top, aswell as the magic remote. I got it from ao.com for £1249 including a £40 discount.
Unfortunately I cant help with the calibration, maybe that guys at the avforums website can?. Do you have this tv? If you do, what do you think of it?
Anybody got some calibration tips for this panel
Great TV for the money, non-RGBW too for anyone that's worried.
Price went up today it looks like.
Has been cheaper new. Also I'm pretty sure ex display is really customer returns due to light bleed etc.
Virtually This price brand new
£1800 at Crampton & Moore new with 5 years warranty. cold.
I only bought it for free HDMI cable
Sadly this seems to have gone up to £1525 now but with a 5 year warranty
if only they came in 50" size.
Have they provided a firmware update to support Hybrid Log Gamma on this model ?
Its only a matter of time before your price point is reached. If you don't need it right now just wait. My price point is £1000. Have been using a budget Furrion 55" TV for the last 5 years. Going to hang on until the £1000 price is reached unless it breaks down. Then I will have to think again
Yes, you never want to sit there thinking, "should have bought the OLED."
KU is 2016 model and MU is the brand new 2017 model.
Not familiar with this model, anyone know the difference between this and UE55KU6000...?
http://www.cramptonandmoore.co.uk/lg-oled55b6v-55-ultra-hd-alliance-premium-with-dolby-vision.html? The £1799 deal with the sound bar is back up at crampton and moore
I bought one from Reliant Direct last week for £1749.99 delivered using the 'SAVE250' code advertised at the time. So the codes do work. I'd highly recommend Reliant Direct after my experience, they were exceptional. Paul
You're right. The £1699 deal was up for a few days but it's down now and replaced with the free sound bar deal. It's a recurring deal though, it'll probably be back up in a few days.
I couldn't get that save300 code to work for me. The listing also doesn't mention you can use it. Same with save200. The code applies but doesn't affect the amount.
It's £1699 here http://www.reliantdirect.co.uk/Televisions/OLED/LG-55-OLED55B6V-UHD-Alliance-Premium---Dolby-Vision---HDR10-Floating-design_OLED55B6V.htm Just use the save300 code that's listed on the page. It's permanently droppilee from £1999 to £1799 at John Lewis too so I'm hoping there'll be a sale price pretty soon. Every other retailer should follow suit and drop to 1799 in the meantine anyway.
No stock at John Lewis, but you can buy this with a free 4K blue ray recorder and a 5 Year Warranty for £1157 here.. https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/samsung-ue55ks8000-tv-free-4k-ultra-hd-blu-ray-player-free-5-year-warranty-1157-2625452
Absolutely..just a few haters on forums that have had numerous issues. I actually like that particular model, probably the best LED you can get for that kind of money. I think OLED could lead the way this year with Sony and Panasonic joining the party. Once there is a 55" 4K OLED for under £1000 then people will go crazy for it. Not sure how long that will take though.
No issues at all, great TV
JL should price match - they price matched the KS7000 deal from the same retailer which also came with 1 year standard warranty
Buy this TV with 5 years parts & labour warranty for a fantastic price. Please click here to view deal If you click at click here it will take you the page with 5 years warranty which is at £1275. JL might price match that one. http://www.applianceelectronics.co.uk/viewproduct.asp?pid=11828
ordered this on the phone today for collection saturday, £829! happy days
I had a pre-purchase price match at 845, but did another price match for this deal post purchase, they have refunded £70 immediately. Thanks for posting! :)
Sub £750 by May!
Nice! I have re-sbmitted my price match for the extra £10 off! Thats the way which JL do their price matches as far as i'm aware. Refund is quite quick unless using paypal originally to purchase as that may take more time to process the refund. Your link is for 49" curve version and this is for the 55". Its a question of personal preference I think. If you have the positioning set good in the room for curve then it may well suite your needs! Apparently good viewing angles are reduced for the curve though.
Gone down to £829.99. I got a Price Match from JL But they wanted me to purchase at Full Price & then they'd refund the difference back? That doesn't seem correct to me... Shall I try another Price Match in hope of getting another agent? Also is this Curved Ver worth a look in? https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/samsung-ue49ks7500-silver-49inch-4k-ultra-hd-curved-tv-with-quantum-dot-789-99-co-2647628?p=30383734
With a 5 Year Warranty plus a Free 4K Ultra-HD Blu-ray Player for £1289.. http://www.prcdirect.co.uk/samsung-ue55ks8000-samsung-55-smart-suhd-4k-led-tv.html
or thinking of the 55" 7000 series
Great price, great tv.
Saw this the other day, it's definitely the best price for this TV at the moment, and if it came with the free blu ray player like John Lewis i would buy it. I'm hoping this is a sign of things to come, and it drops everywhere else. Good TV!
that's the price for 49 inch..this one is 55 inch
How this compare with 65M7000 and save £££.
Posted my deal/receipt
In my local branch, Newmarket, Suffolk.
Hi, Did you by in store or online. If online do you have a link to the webpage. Thanks
How do I upload my receipt?
It's 8+2.......kind of fake 10bit.
Why do sites describe it as 10 bit?
Cheapest 49 inch 10 Bit is the Samsung Ks7000 (at Currys) £899
It's 8 bit mate!
Screen specs wdbsite states this is an 8bit screen, however the lg websites seems to imply this has hdr10 and dolbyvision (indicating a 10bit screen) - if thats correct then this is a bargain! I also think this model might qualify for the 12months free SkyQ offer.
Shows as £782 for me when you add the 5 year warranty...
forgdt 8bit 10bit it's all about the input lag
10 bit HDR?
You clearly have no idea
i bought this model from co op electrical. http://www.coopelectricalshop.co.uk/Bosch-WAT24420GB-A-30-8kg-1200-Spin-Washing-Machine-in-White/id-BOS-WSH-WAT24420GB-W You can get it for £356.60 after Bosch £50 cashback, tcb cashback £8.38 and using the code BSH40 to take £40 off. It's very quiet and better spec model.
Avoid at all costs: 1)1200 clothes will not be dry enough. 2) your clothes might come out with lots of holes 3) the timer with this series is dodgy. The wash cycle is forever flashing 4) Don't buy from Currys which constanlty flog 2nd hand stuff as new.
Really? Naw! https://youtu.be/JcOfFeKXcd4
And the first prize goes to................................... ghostm4n
Not voting either way but personally I wouldn't even consider buying a TV of this size without a 5 year warranty. John Lewis, Richer Sounds always, and Panasonic Samsung or Sony will often do a 5 year deal. With a bit of effort price matching you can save a lot of heartache later on for a very reasonable price. I've personally bought a number of TVs over the years, and have had 3 TVs (different brands) fail in the last year of the warranty. All mine were with John Lewis, and each time I have ended up with a new TV. For me it's a no brainer.
You don't think maybe it was a bit of sarcasm???
wish I cold your comment. Ridiculous statement
Yes flat screen, roll on aug 13th for the start of the season! Cheers
the flat screen? picture is amazing. and although I was worried about the company being so cheap, can't fault them. enjoy
Great to hear! I opted for the 49KS8000 in the end and I'm very happy with it
tv delivered today as promised. was unpacked and tested for me to make sure I was happy. 5 yr warranty and tv is stunning. and mine was nearly 800 less than everyone else.
will do :-)
I've never actually owned a dryer myself before, I remember all my clothes being shrunk when I was a kid though. would something like this shrink my clothes? Cheers
damn I missed this, still a good price at £679
Mine's a JLWM1604 - rebadged Electrolux. It certainly does - I do it all the time.
I don't know if any washing machine that let's you open the door when there's water in the drum
Isn't this just a gimmick though? My 5+ year old washing machine uses so little water for most programmes that the level is below the bottom of the door; to add something, you just press pause and the door unlocks immediately.
Odd. It's still a good price today
And now I can get the k8500 and then claim £300 back as well ;)
good price. I ended up getting the ks7500 65 inch with 5 yr warranty for 1746.
Just got a pm with Jl £2397 matched with powerdirect :)
I'm ok with last years version, amazing telly for the money!
