I would love to be considered for tickets.
Thank you. Application in!
These tickets are like gold dust and (so I'm told by a friend within the corp.) they are seen as as a perk for BBC friends and family so very rare the public sees them.
Nothing to lose in trying though.

My Dad is nearly 90 and is still dancing!
He struggles with walking, and climbing the stairs, but can still waltz like a young'un..... bless !

I can 100% assure you that it isn't true.
its nice that the form is easier to use this time
previous times you had to apply separately for each date you wanted tickets for and that took ages!
Thanks OP, not my cup of tea, but tried to get a couple of tickets for my mother-in-law for Blackpool, here's hoping
I live very near Elstree Studios and if you do manage to get tickets then you MUST arrive at the show many hours before you are advised to and queue in the open (regardless of weather) if you want to stand any chance of actually getting into the show. Like most free tickest to shows they way over offer tickets and never know until they are actually ready to seat you how many spare seats they will have after all the friends and family of cast and crew have taken their seats. So by all means apply and if you are lucky enough to be offered tickets please be prepared for disappointment on the day as most people won't actually get in.

I've experienced this with Question of Sport tickets, albeit about 6 years ago.
We had tickets, and arrived early, but didn't get in the first time around (missed entry by about 5 people). But we were treated well, they explained everything, were apologetic and gave us priority tickets for the next filming (guaranteed entry and better seats).
The next time we were straight in and were sat in the seats behind the panel, just to Sue's right, making our long awaited on screen debut :-)

It's all doom and gloom on here: "You won't get tickets", "You won't get in".
I bet none of you play the lottery as "you're never going to win" - here's news, someone always wins.

If you apply, you might get tickets, and assuming you arrive nice and early, you might get in.
Don't apply and you get nothing, simples.

Oh I quite agree. Its worth applying but go bearing in mind that you might not get in (I've seen so many people who haven't realised that the fact they have a ticket doesn't guarantee them a seat for shows and have therefore been very disappointed). We did this several times with Dancing on Ice and yes we got priority tickets for a future show but I've also been to other shows where you don't get anything but an appology. The big tip is to get there VERY EARLY!
My parents in law got tickets two years ago and they queued for 8 hours and were lucky enough to get in but only 6 or 7 after them made the cut. If your getting them for a 70 year old be ready for at least a 7 hour wait outside in a queue and the weather could be anything
tnxs X)
My wife got these about 3 years ago, they send out more tickets than they can accommodate so that it's always full, so make sure you queue early.

Also, be prepared for a long day, and no matter what some people say.. you can't take food in!
Heat added, just to see Ms Kirkwood.:)
