I wonder how many days it was sold at £39.99 to qualify for that massively inflated RRP?

Welcome to HotUKDeals

Worth less then a fiver but as 1.99 is less better then half price of a fiver I'm going to vote hot.

Is this good for a kindle?

Looked good but usual stock depletion.

Not that I have a binatone tablet. Picked mine up. RRP of £40 is Argos treating the British as mental or mugs. The normal retail price is worth about £10 - £15. But very hot for £2.
The headphone is kid's size (as it should be) but the sound quality is 2 star out of 10. There is no treble and bass and the mid range has no dynamic range and clarity. The car charger has a 2.5mm jack and is useful for other tablets, in this case, bingo for me with a Hyundai T7 and I can now charge this in a car, not that I would probably. The black case can be seen as cheap but is in fact very well cut and stitched. The polyurethane has a matt solid feel to it with very stiff edges and corners. In terms of protection it feels similar to a Samsung original impact resistant case for a Samsung Tab 7". This means that a tablet will be protected when drop on its corner onto hard floor. I have an ASUS ME173x and this cover fit it quite well and usable. The inaccessible parts which can be made accessible but with a tiny bit of cut are: the front camera (for Skype), volume down. Note that for the ME173X tablet the volume is adjustment with settings if you do not want to cut. A bit trickier cutting is for the rear camera and the back speaker (if you want sound more clear). The charging port, mic and earphone, on/off , volume up are accessible. The micro SD slot is not accessible without taking the tablet out of case (or do a cut in the case).

We bought these as a cheap cover for the nexus 7 (2012 model) - although the holes don't match up for the volume & charger port, they do offer some protection for when the kids are using them. Headphones are ok for the kids too.

I was about to buy some just for the headphones, before realising they're kid's size

Whatever the idiocy of the RRP, two quid is pretty damn good if they're of use to you.

Stock in Redhill, Epsom, Leatherhead and Crawley at 8pm Tuesday!
