Aptamil 1,2 and 3 - £8.89 @ Lidl

Although Lidl have always sold aptamil for 8.89, it is now a deal.

Aptamil have recently changed their formulation. (The new formulation is in the new branded packs, some parents are noting the new formulation isn’t as good as the old) At the same time they have slyly reduced the weight of the packs in the mainstream supermarkets from 900g to 800g whilst keeping the price the same.

The Lidl packs have always been 800g.

So now Lidl packs are better value for money at £8.89 compared to £10 at most other supermarkets.

Cow and gate have also been dropped to 800g
i've been using the aptamil growing up milk stage 3 & i have to say it smells awful..the previous two were different. has anyone else noticed this?
So why is it cold then?? Ppl dumb?
Seen the news lately?
I would avoid Aptamil. A lot of parents complaining that the new formula is making their babies ill, it gave my 7 week old a poorly stomach and he struggled to keep it all down during feeds. We have now switched to Cow & Gate.
Do some research online before purchasing this.
I always wait for 10% off from my bank for any supermarket or amazon, this will allow you to buy stage 1 milk with the discount. Currently co op has 10% through nationwide.

Cow&Gate and Aptamil are identical made in the same Danone factory in France. Aptamil is marketed to social groups a-c and cow and gate c and below.

It isn’t. Compare the ingredients. The mamia doesn’t dissolve as easily either.

They are not allowed to promote/market/advertise stage 1 formula milk by law.

They mention that the formulation hasn’t been changed, it’s only the packaging design that has altered. I’ll keep an eye out for any complaints though! Thanks

That’s how the aptimal issue started. My little one has been very unsettled since the “packaging” changed, and I’ve seen a couple of people have been sent messages saying it has changed, it feels like aptimal all over again
New aptamil being introduced in Lidl now. Same price but has been reduced by 100g to 700g.
