Order this today. We are going through a massive amount of bottled water being stuck at home at the moment so thought this might be a cost effective solution.

Our fridge is too small to fit a filter jug in the door.

I know it will dredge up the old tap vs bottled argument but hey ho. Hope it helps someone.

Using takeaway containers to make ice.
Saving me a fortune.

Have this too, water is cold enough with the cooler on. Comparable to fridge cold. If you like ice water then it's not for you. The cooler tank holds about 800ml but it cools reasonably quickly.

The front panel is black, the top half back is clear - divided into top pre filter and the bottom filtered.

It's quite bulky. Water dispenser is a push button that you have to hold.

Once filled no need to worry throughout the day .. use it for cooking, hot drinks, cold drinks.

We paid 80 plus 6 filters.

I don’t think the filters are designed for this machine because it’s the same as the jugs but I fill my machine up twice a day so I think they only last 10 days

You do know the whole, "filter only lasts x days" thing is cobblers, right?

Yes it states 60 days when in reality it’s nowhere near that

The water does not flow through so I have to replace it. It might be better where you are because my water is very hard

I'm looking for a fridge for my bedroom but this would actually be a better solution... I'm not interested in the water being filtered though (it's just a way they can get a steady stream of income from their customers). Can this be used without the filters?

What utter nonsense suggesting the filters do nothing, if you can’t taste the difference then it is your tastebuds that are not working, they remove most of the chlorine from the water. It’s fine for you to be ok with drinking water that is not being filtered but making an incorrect unsubstantiated comment like this is wrong as it may influence someone who thinks you might know what you are talking about.

Not sure they remove chlorine, just leaving water in a jug will do that? How do you know when a filter has stopped working, just out of interest?
Brand and model Filter replacement requirements:

Brita Grand 10-cup pitcher every 2 months or after 40 gallons
PUR Classic 11-cup pitcher every 2 months
Zerowater 10-cup pitcher after 25–40 gallons, depending on tap water quality
Clearly Filtered 8-cup pitcher every 4 months or after 100 gallons
Aquagear 8-cup pitcher every 6 months or after 150 gallons

Cool story.
Anyone know if you can use these without the filter?

Same for me, the 60 day filters normally last me for over 100 days and that is in a hard water area, Wiltshire.

The evoke filters are for this machine, tried fitting them to our jug (that take the oval shaped filter) and they are just a tad big.

Yes, it's clear enough to see the water level. Thanks.
How long is the power cable on this unit? Thanks.
sdylan11/06/2020 14:00

76cm

Thanks. I emailed them and I was told it was 1m (100cm) in length. They must be wrong then?

So 76cm is the true length? I don't even think that's long enough for me either. Did they tell you the same?

I’m not sure if it’s a few models because I remember in amazon questions people said the cable was 100cm

Also on my model the water tank is black which I don’t like because it’s hard to see water level

Maybe, I've seen on their website that their are numerous models.

I saw that too, do you have the WC0112 model. The pictures seem to be misleading at the most.

This the one I'm looking at.

Is there a socket to insert the cable into the Chiller itself and if so where is it?

Ah ok, I may have to buy an extension cord too.

Is it worth the price point of £87 in your eyes.
