Hm, maybe it is now the regular price, though AquaMax announce it's "99p" in Poundland aqua-max.co.uk/aqu…9p/ (must be a mistake :p)

Web link with details about this Cream, is here: aqua-max.co.uk/pro…am/

It has been specifically formulated to exclude common irritants found in so many other emollient treatments. With a high lipid content, it provides an effective barrier that stops moisture escaping from the skin and prevents irritants entering.

Aquamax® Cream is free from:

SLS
Fragrances
Lanolin
Parabens
Chlorocresol
Isopropyl myristate
Other common irritants, sensitisers or detergents

Also, from here: aqua-max.co.uk/all…ts/

What’s in it? Purified water, white soft paraffin BP, cetostearyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, Polysorbate 60 and phenoxyethanol.

Aquamax Contains:

No soap
No detergents
No parabens
No fragrance

There's a link for a free sample on the AquaMax site, so I'll give it a try and see what it's like - thanks OP

I thought I'd heard of the name somewhere - I'm pretty sure I got a sample of theirs a while back (though I would have given it to my niece).

Violetta on MSE says they find ordinary Aqueous Cream stings their skin and they found this much gentler after picking it up in Poundland after I posted, they haven't commented on results yet, though.
I saw the thread on MSE, and was surprised to see Aqueous Cream has SLS in; that led to me discovering that it's no longer recommended for eczema, which came as quite a surprise, although I haven't used it for years as it's just not powerful enough for me.

Knowing my Poundland, they won't get this in anyway, so even if I like the sample I probably won't be able to get any....
Searched loads of Poundlands - no dice.
Finally found it in King St Hammersmith - bought 5.
Really good product as it eases my itchiness and redness big time.

I haven't seen it in my Poundlands for a few weeks, were usually to be found (in Glasgow) in Argyle Street and Union Street - but my niece really likes it.

Remember you can get Aveeno (my niece's favourite) prescribed on the NHS, if that works for you, too.
