Aquapel is a glass treatment for car windows/windscreens. Once applied to your glass it repels water. In practical terms it means once you're travelling over about 50mph water flies off your screen upwards without the need for wipers. I've also discovered it makes scraping frost off your windows very, very easy as the frost can't bond properly with your windscreen.

It comes in a pack with 4 applications, on Amazon the packs go for around £18.

In Costco it is now £9.97 + VAT

I don't know if this is a national deal but in the Gateshead store they had plenty left at this reduced price.

4 Easy to Use Applicators - Rain Repellent Glass Treatment

Aquapel Glass Treatment is applied to the exterior of vehicle glass, leaving the windshield and other treated glass surfaces water resistant.

Rain beads up and rolls off to dramatically improve a driver's vision in rain, day and night.

Aquapel Glass Treatment forms a chemical bond with glass unlike other products that simply coat glass. As a result, Aquapel Glass Treatment can last up to six times longer than other products.

See the difference with a treated window!! The Difference is CLEAR!!

cant you get the same effect by rubbing a raw halved potato on your screen? i remember being told that as am emergency if your wipers stop working
Use Rainex, it was on offer at ASDA a while ago so not sure of pricing now.... also just bought some stuff from poundland which looks imilar so going to try it.

Word of warning, make sure you have a lot of elbow grease after applying any of the rain repellant treatments, you must clean the screen BEFORE and POLISH the SCREEN AFTER.
The y way it works is that glass has minutre imperfections, the rain repellent effectively fills the gaps and stops the water from hanging on. it really does work, I can vouch for Rainex (used it for years), and it is amazing to watch the rain run off, I have driven through torrential rain with just intemittent wipe" watching all te other cars wipers going like the clappers !
Oh and I don;t work for any of the prdouct manufacturers

Highly recommended. Applied this 6 months ago and rain still beads off when raining and going above 40. Prob time for another application. Lasts much longer than RainX. Hold off buying though as this will drop again to £6.97+Vat.
