I used to buy this from Boots for over £4. Aldi's selling this for £1.99 however at the checkout the cream is £0.59. A real bargain!. I bought 6 tubs. Every one is 500 g and the expiry date is 08/2017.

fantastic stuff, used in place of soap/shower gel its great for people with eczema, watch out for a slippery bath or shower when using though
The regular price for this is 99p in Savers, can't remember the exact amount but its slightly more in Bodycare. could be wrong but I think its about £2 in ASDA/Tesco.
£4 in boots why does that not surprise me
Also great replacement for shaving gel.

For those that do not know, this is exactly the same as E45 cream.

Aqueous is the generic name, E45 is the more expensive brand name

Be careful if using aqueous cream particulary if you have eczema or dry skin conditions as due to SLS Sodium Lauryl Sulfate can cause irritation and potentially further skin damage.

aqueous cream is not the same as E45. Aqueous cream is for use instead of soap only, and not a leave on moisturizer...used to be but not anymore.

I occasionally use it, and I do remember reading on the tub it saying it can be used as a moisturiser.

I thought the cream treats those very conditions. When I had bleeding knuckles from cracked skin during the winter, my GP told me to get some ABP.

thats incorrect and latest medical advice is not to leave on. Your GP or nurse may not be aware of this.......yet.

Aqueous is definitely NOT a moisturiser. I am a nurse prescriber. It is for use as a soap substitute. For many years in was in the wrong section of the BNF and mistakes were made for a long time. It MUST be washed off. It has caused a lot of bad skin reactions. It is not the same as E45
