I know there aren't many people out there cheerleading for either archos or savastore but hey, quad core, 1GB RAM dual sim etc ain't too shabby for price.
can be had slightly cheaper ordering multiple items as £5.00 is deliv. charge
and i know no 4g but living where i do there's not much 3g either

It looked ok, but I have just checked the specs for the internal storage. Ouch!

Only half a gig of ram and 4GB of rom , not for me >.

eh what?
the ARCHOS 45 Platinum combines a Quad core processor with 1GB of RAM

If you don't need dual sim and are eligible for PAYG upgrade, the Huawei Y550 for £49.95 from CPW is a much better option:

Had an Archos once.
Never again.

where mobile phones are concerned, I truly believe you get what you pay for and anything sub £120 and not 4G is not going to be great. No point in buying a "smartphone" if it runs at a snail pace and has more lag than an old Nissan Note.

not from where i am sitting. I have a 4G network, i love to stream Netflix and a host of other stuff, 3G does work most of the the time but I can't see the point in paying £90 when an extra £45 will get you 4G. The Moto G is a great phone, really is but the Moto G 4G is the better price. There are so many new budget phones on due out in the next 3 weeks, manufacturers are becoming more savvy to the consumer and Motorola have really led the way in my opinion in good budget phones. Archos and the like are hoping the consumer won't look too deep into specs and will willingly open their wallets on a "deal". Hence why this site is so great, as members do leave good "advice" just depends which one you want to hear....

and some just waffle on confusing the subjects
good to see you have established the fact that spending twice as much money will get me 4g with no 4g signal within many miles of me whilst also leaving me to carry two phones
