Work in an office and it gets real warm in summer? Look no further.

Arctics USB desk fan is more than adicuate to keep you cool at your desk while not taking up room on your desk!

Found on Scan’s new arrivals. Try and get one ordered before they’re gone for summer.

I assume there’s some form of delivery charge for certain places but check for your area. Or collect from the Horwich store.

That looks like someone took the shroud off a 100mm case fan, and plugged it into a flexy usb cable!

Not a bad price but the delivery costs are just ridiculous. More like scam than scan

Scan charge £5 ish P&P. Isn't that fairly reasonable? Sure, you wouldn't just order this cheap fan from there but if you were doing an order anyway this isn't a bad deal at all. It's certainly not a "scam" anyway. They use DPD which in case you were not aware costs money. Unlike some, usually larger retailers, they haven't absorbed this cost themselves and have instead decided to pass it on to the consumer, which is a perfectly reasonable thing to do, certainly not "ridiculous".
I've got one of these fans myself, good fan, fairly quiet, has multiple uses e.g. cooling a mug of tea, and being USB it can be run off of a power bank too. The only thing I don't like is the lack of an on/off switch, meaning that if it's plugged in, it's on, and the only way to turn it off is to physically unplug it. Good luck trying not to catch your fingers in the blades! It's not really dangerous though so yeah I'd recommend it. It's also available on Amazon if you're not planning on ordering anything else from Scan (doesn't make sense to pay more for delivery than for the product) though if you are this is a good deal

No, its not reasonable.for that item the delivery charge is way over the top. Why use a courier? For a 2 grand PC yes, for a fan - why not royal mail?
Its on amazon for £5.90 with free delivery. Thats nearly the price of scans delivery charge alone
