Seems a decent CPU cooler from reviews, with some saying it's the best bang for buck cpu cooler going.

IMPROVED HEAT DISSIPATION: Evenly spread direct-touch heat pipes and an optimised heat sink design with 54 cooling fins lead to an ideal heat dissipation for the Freezer 34 eSports

HIGH PERFORMANCE FOR HIGH-END CPU: The contact surface of the Freezer 34 eSports heat pipes does not cover the full heatspreader, but is right where the processor DIE is and covers even the largest versions (18 core)

EASY INSTALLATION & SECURE HOLD: Fast and easy to install, the mounting system of the Freezer 34 eSports is compatible with Intel and AMD sockets. Thanks to a backplate and its low weight it's also transport safe

OPTIMAL RAM COMPATIBILITY: Thanks to the compact dimensions (124 mm x 157 mm x 88 mm), there are no restrictions when using RAM modules. Even RAM modules with larger heat sinks can be mounted without any issues

COMPATIBILITY: The CPU cooler mounting system Freezer 34 eSports by Arctic mounting system is compatible with the Intel Sockets: 115X, 2011-3 *, 2066 * and AMD: AM4

So companies are putting "eSports" in product names now? Like "gaming" being added to anything and everything.

I'd rather pay 25 quid instead of 18 quid for a Chinese knockoff

It's a good price, but if you're doing any sort of overclocking, I'd want the extra fan (eSports Duo) for the extra tenner
Got one of these last week, makes a horrible noise when the fan clicks on, my setup is silent usually. Got mine from scan or would have sent back (that and I broke my freezer 33 backplate). Just swapped the fan out.

This is one of the best coolers you can buy for anywhere near this price. Grab it while it lasts.

I've bought one of these I'm hoping to put two of my own fans on it

Just installed my second one in the home (after being so impressed with the first) and I don't experience this, sounds like a faulty unit (and did an inordinate amount of reading aboutt he cooler before purchase and never saw a single mention of anything like this). The startup sound from the fans is inaudible and even at full speed its an ignorable "whoosh" rather than anything whiney or clicky. I'm actually thinking of picking up the Bionix fans to replace my case fans

Yeah its cringeworthy but the cooler performs (and reviews) extremely well and there's nothing anywhere around this price point that performs better (obviously if you spend a lot more you can improve it but it stands up pretty well to some coolers twice the price)
Just installed mine. Extremely impressed with the performance. My Coraair H50 used to max out at 73c 100% load. This cooler has it down to 62c. During gaming I'm at 50c...unbelievable
Only 4 heat pipes I think I'd prefer something with 6 or more

What actually performs better in the same price-range? OR what price do you need to pay (and what product) to get significantly better cooling at a great VFM level?
I advise to check if it's compatible with your MB (with AM4). I've bought eSports Duo (I presume that this same issue will occur with this cooler) for my MSI b450m Mortar and it wasn't compatible, after installation it was wobbling and temperature was extremely high. I've heard that it's mainly MSI motherboards problem, but think twice if you wanna buy it for your AM4 motherboard.

Nothing at 24.99 price range I'd say. Youd be looking at noctua dh15 which is like 60 quid for better performance.

How did you install it? Standing up or laying down? You have to make sure the threads are pushed through properly on the backside of the motherboard.

I did all according to manual. Here is a link to yt of this cooler and in comment section there are some complains about ryzen MBs:

It's going to be more than capable for a sensible overclock with one fan.

Did you install it right? Its installed on my b450 tomahawk just fine.

Yes, I did like in that video guide which I linked. Unfortunately I bought it in advance because of the low price even though I couldn't fit it in my old pc case. After I got a new case, I've tried to install it with an obvious result. It was too late to return it so I've swapped cooler from my old rig and now I'm using be quite! Dark Rock Slim with an extra fan. The Arctic one is cooling my i5 4690k (and there was no problems with installation on Intel socket).
I'm surprised. I've just find this comment from ARCTIC amongst comments from the video linked by me before:

"Guy: I'm trying to install this on an 'Asus X470 Prime Pro' but the AM4 standoffs are not long enough. The threads on the standoffs don't even go through the hole on the cooler bracket. Am I doing something wrong?

ARCTIC: For some boards the included AM4 backplates don't work. Reach out to our customer Service and they'll send you a new AM4 backplate which should fit without problems for free "

It's a high possibility they are exactly the same just re-branded!
Many of these companies don't manufacture jack, they simply test a load of white label products from china then buy a shed load of the best ones and re-brand them!!
I had a bit of fun installing one on the ASUS B450-F Strix, the standoffs are JUST long enough to fix. Performance is good.

Ultimately it boils down to physics - the cooler I listed is a 5 heatpipe dual tower design with 2 large fans - the Arctic one is a single tower with 4 heat pipes and a single fan.

I know which one I'd rather go for :-)

I saw that review they gave it 65/100 for performance...not impressive. Its jot just about how many heat pipes a cooler has. To be fair I got mine for 15 quid so nothing will beat it for that price.

Why would I need guarantee on a cooler, is any of the fins going to break after I've installed it ? Keep your venom to yourself. Working for 2 years now, no issues whatsoever.

Yeah that was definitely venomous...

(and to answer your question, clearly the lump of metal isn't going to require warranty (so YOU keep YOUR venom to yourself!), those fans with cheap bearings however, may well)
