  • IMPROVED HEAT DISSIPATION: Evenly spread direct-touch heat pipes and an optimised heat sink design with 54 cooling fins lead to an ideal heat dissipation for the Freezer 34 eSports DUO
  • HIGH PERFORMANCE FOR HIGH-END CPU: The contact surface of the Freezer 34 eSports DUO heat pipes does not cover the full heatspreader, but is right where the processor DIE is and covers even the largest versions (18 core)
  • EASY INSTALLATION & SECURE HOLD: Fast and easy to install, the mounting system of the Freezer 34 eSports DUO is compatible with Intel and AMD sockets. Thanks to a backplate and its low weight it's also transport safe
  • IDEAL AIRFLOW: The two BioniX P-fans of the Freezer 34 eSports DUO work in push-pull-mode. The resulting increase of airflow ensures that the heat from the CPU is dissipated even faster
  • COMPATIBILITY: The CPU cooler mounting system Freezer 34 eSports DUO by Arctic mounting system is compatible with the Intel Sockets: 115X, 2011-3 *, 2066 * and AMD: AM4

Good price. It comes with a small thing of MX-4 paste too.
Loud unfortunately. Pay 15 more and buy noctua u12

Or just tweak the fan curve in your BIOS.

Change the fan curve and its near silent (hardly loud in its out of the box configuration though, depending on your BIOS of course). Under heavy load you can barely hear it over a typical Graphics Card/case fans. Its quiet operation is one of its strengths, certainly not a weakness
Not loud for me. I rechecked the temps last night and after playing BFV for an hour the temp ( with Wraith Spire) have gone down from 79-81C to 63-66C. My fan curve keeps revs down at lower temps (40c] and then ramps up as the cpu gets hotter.
For the money I agree with the general consensusthat this is the best cooler you can get.

Did you sort out the issue you were having with case fans?
I've been researching coolers lately for my next build. Needs to be 8 core + for content creation, so decent cooling required. I must admit I've always considered Arctic to be a somewhat budget brand and wasn't considering them.

Ponchato on YouTube has a review of this cooler, and it does shockingly well for its price point. Punches above its weight. I think to get better temps than this you'd have to jump up to the high end Noctua, Scythe or the new - apparently fantastic - Zalman coolers. And that's quite a jump in price.

Good deal, heat. Note that the extra fan does help, the non-duo version is good but not worth it imho.

It went - well last night i couldn't hear it! I had opened up the case and had a poke around and checked the fans connected to the tower and moved some cables around so maybe that was it. Good advice about the resonating rather than a fan itself thanks

Honestly I got this a few days ago for my 3700x, and it has probably been the best investment i've made the past year.

Seems like a good price, most of the other colours look to be slightly cheaper at £34.99 too.

The Red has actually gone up since the OP, it was the cheapest now its more expensive than all bar white!
Naff name, but does well in tests e.g. kitguru Voted Hot
I'm surprised at how well it performs given how shallow the heatsink is and only 4 heatpipes.
Guess that's what two fans gives you!

Am cooling a 5.1Ghz 9700k with a Thermalright Macho (another naff name, bought for £43) which is really quiet under load - but its heatsink is twice the depth and has 6 heatpipes.

4 heatpipes but they are split into 8 pipes all evenly spread at the top. But yeah the push/pull fans must help too. Its brill for the price.

Seems a strange stance to take but thanks for letting us know.
The KitGuru review suggested that this was a £30 cooler on release anyway. Most of the colours have moved to £34.99 which could just be the new RRP.

Coolers with 6-7 pipes don't do all that much better than this with just 4.

That's a bit odd. Your entire post is just really odd.
