Randomly found this deal just now. I've never posted anything on here so dunno what i'm doing really. I've ordered one anyway; hopefully it's not a mistake... About £8 cheaper than normal.

Good find and good cooler.
Awesome price for a great product (have 3x in the household now!), I have another build in the pipe for my kids so I've grabbed one, thanks OP!

THis is actually cheaper than buying two of the fans if you just need case/rad fans!

Great price for the Duo version!
It seems random which colours drop in price in the freezer 34 range
Fantastic cooler- went from 81c on a 2700x with stock Wraith Prism while gaming to 65c with this. It works very, very well and is a bargain at this price.
Good spot OP. Heat
At this price, best cooler on the market before paying serious money for Zalman or Noctua. GREAT deal! Heat.
And yes I'm going to get one.
Got one for 33 a month ago. Wasn't disappointed at the time. For this price this is a steal.
Great price. I nearly bit on the single fan version for a couple of quid less a few days ago. Glad I didn't now.

I'll be interested to see how this stacks up against the 212 Evo and Pure Rock Slim I already have.
This or Dark Rock 4?
Arctic coolers always go unnoticed for some reason considering they outperform the 212 Evo
Excellent cooler! Have it in my h200 and it's very decent for this price

In this video it goes up against these two; Hyper 212 Black Edition and Shadow Rock Slim, but they might be a lot different to the ones you said:

What a deal. Good find.
The plate that touches the CPU is quite small compared to say an AM4 CPU. Artic says it's fine but it's a bit alarming at first.

Thanks for the link, that's a pretty in depth look at those coolers. One thing that's always interested me is swapping the fans over or using aftermarket fans. For some reason I really want to know how a stock Freezer 34 stacks up against a Snowman with a Silent Wings 3, for example. Once this arrives I'll get to the science of it all.

Anyone know if this comes with thermal paste?

Anyone know if this comes with thermal paste?

If you go down to the questions section of the listing on amazon there are a few people with that question and according to the answers they got; it apparently does come with Arctic's own paste. Worth checking it out for yourself though as I don't have one.

According to Amazon's Q&A's it comes with 0.8g of Arctic MX-4.

Yeah, a sachet of mx4

Was just about to ask
Thanks all, even went through the questions and missed that one. Blame Friday.
Long shot but has anyone installed this in an MSI B350m Gaming Pro?
rev628/02/2020 17:05

For a single installation I believe.

Correct, single application
I hope no one takes any heat away from this cooler. It's a smoking hot deal!

You got me worried now . I don't think a cooler block needs to make contact with the whole of the cpu. Just take the heat away from the bit it touches fast enough to keep up with the overall heat output. I think they call the bit it makes contact with a heat spreader so sort of makes sense.
Surprised this ain't getting more heat. I was going to get the single fan 34 esport green/yellow recently for £25.

Think they are price-matching Overclockers UK

It's the first time I've encountered this.

Its not the "CPU" it touches anyway, its the IHS (integrated heat spreader) that contacts the base of the heatsink, so its only a conductor thats its contacting. Whilst there is still an argument for more surface area yielding better performance this thing does well as it is, so dont worry!

If we're going to be pedantic it doesn't "touch" the IHS. That's why thermal paste is needed. I actually said heat spreader if you weren't so quick to make a point. I've read that the most of chiplets aren't usually near the edges of the IHS and they are oversized. Wonder if there's any benefit from delidding one of these and using liquid metal between the chiplets and the IHS?

Cheers dude. Didn't realise they soldered. Looks like even the enthusiasts only get a couple of degrees lower. Better just getting better cooler . Can't wait for my system build tomorrow with this cooler on a ryzen 3600

I was trying to be reassuring when you said you were worried...

(and thermal material technically fills in small gaps between the two surfaces as the heatsink in particular is rarely truly flat after machining, metal DOES touch metal, if were going full pedant)

Metal doesn't actually touch metal regardless of how flat.
Good cooler
I'm not a fan of the Red of these eSports coolers and want an all black RGB setup, has anyone had experience with spraying fan shrouds black?
