Save money and get Port Charlotte 10. I think Ardbeg is overrated.
Sub £29 again and it might be worth a try but not when it's only a bit more to get the 10 when discounted
With the new tax coming in, this may well be the cheapest you see it for the foreseeable
Actually prefer this to the 10, a feisty little malt with bags of peaty smoke, adore Wee Beastie
Totally opposite of my experience. I found this harsh whereas I genuinely believe the 10 is one of the best whiskies in the world.
5YO scotch for £33 is a good deal? Is the bottle at least 1.75L, or something?…
It's certainly interesting and packs a punch, but it's nothing like the 10. I doubt I'd buy it again.
You've obviously got a better defined palate than I have. I've taste tested these two side-by-side and whilst I could tell they were different whiskies, it was subtle and I couldn't say which I preferred. I do tend to like all things Ardbeg so it was a win-win!
It's been this price at Sainsburys for the last couple of weeks too.- creosote !
