    They are a bit of jump price wise but both the Uigeadail and Corryvreckan are well worth the extra.

    Ideal for those who like their whisky to give them a smack around the chops. I had a bottle of this and would prefer to spend my money on Laphroaig Quarter Cask. Unfortunately, I can't find that for less than £36 a bottle now.

    It's young, spirity and quite honestly harsh. Then again, I've never been a fan of most of Ardbeg's output.

    Really enjoyed this. Probably the best young whisky out there. Its a young but with loads of character, ehem peat...

    Also made a whisky sour with it and was superb.

    My brother in law loves this but I just found it harsh. I'd rather save up for the 10.

    The 10 was £38 on Amazon recently. I've not tried the beastie but it sounds like it's well worth the fiver for the 10.

    Their mock up horror movie poster advertisement is really cool (can't comment on the whisky, though)

    It's not meant to be smooth, it's a wee beastie.
    An assault on the palate but one that grows on you.

    This is really quite harsh…..spend a bit more and get something a bit more balanced.

    I find this one quite harsh too. The 10yo is a smoother drop for another £6 or so, and the OA version for another £10 is nice as well.
