I feel your pain.. A man can dream. I hope this helps others though.
You're welcome pal. Enjoy it on my behalf. I'll just be indoors on my PS4
LOL. I've been in your situation before with other products on deal of the day. Sometimes, I'll think you only live once during the evening and when I go to buy it, it's sold out!
have some heat!
Can also be controlled with a phone
There becomes a point where the old model with a good discount is still a fun purchase.
Can wait forever for that next model. Always going to be buying something obsolete in this world.
Still hot for price reduction.

Isn't there something like a joystick thingy which you can attach to the phone etc
I think I swa something like that on the awful gadget show but it was just for right and left.
their is a video on youtube of a guy using an nvidia shield tablet and controller...looks pretty cool. bit expensive though
To be fair 8-10 minutes is about average for a quad this size/quality. You could probably fit a higher capacity battery, but the extra weight also eats into the flying time and both put more stress on the motors.
LOL this actually made me laugh! Don't worry buddy keep groping those potatoes
Some of the reviews say the battery lasts up to 30 mins?
Extremely unlikely from a single 1000mAh battery. There is a 'Power' version which uses 2 x 1500mAh batteries and has a 30 min flight time. That's not this one. This is the 'Elite'.
Ok thanks. I think I'll save up for the Bebop instead having watched a few videos of it in action!
