Groupon got it reduced to 8.99 lol HEAT!

B+M £1.49 for Argan oil also shampoo and condiisoner

Is it worth trying.....has anyone used it out there ??

My mum tried some from Asda and liked it. When i worked as a hairdresser Argan oil was always quite expensive so i expect these products have a low percentage of Argon oil in them to be so cheap.

You can add about 2 - 4ml of pure Argan Oil to your favorite shampoo or put just a little oil on your hair over night...
Does make some shampoo's runnier and less foaming... but you use so little... and you do feel the benefit on the hair and scalp
Do test a little oil on your skin first...someone is bound to be sensitive

I get Argan oil off the bay...there are some good sellers on there

If you have one nearby, try Poundworld, Poundland & 99p Store.

Heat added still

Pretty sure this is mostly silicones with a tiny percentage of argan oil.

I use argan oil conditioner and even thou it probably has the tiniest amount in it I have have really noticed how thick and shiny my hair seems lately and no frizz, don't think I will go back to normal

I bought a 100ml bottle of pure argan oil a while back for £12, I use it once every 3/4 days as an alternative to conditioner after shampooing. It works wonders, and as you only need to use a drop every time, it will last for about 2 years I reckon.

I bought this before in lidl and its always the same price, I have noticed that this is very cleverly marketed as ARGAN oil but when you look closely it's actually labeled "ARGAN Oil Hair Treatment " with 'Moroccan ARGAN oil extract' in other words its not actually ARGAN oil but is being marketed as such and is made in China not from Morocco and list's paraffin among it's ingredients

Check the back though you'll see it's made in China for a company called Xpel Marketing. They basically knock off other products, give them fancy packaging but the actual contents are pretty cheap and nasty. They are made especially for B&M, Poundstretcher, Poundland, Wilkinsons etc.

This is made by them as well BTW.

£1.99 in body care for the oil ,shampoo and conditioner large tubes only 99p twice the size as lidl

I was just watching Argan oil on QVC that's 100%

it s very difficult to find pure argan oil even if u go to Morocco to buy it... some people mix it with olive oil or other oil to make more profit... Also make sure u buy the one for cosmetic and not the one for cooking... Anyway it s great for skin and hair. I am lucky I got mine from my brother in law s family., directly from Agadir in Morocco when it s made and not China. Best price from Morocco is £10 for 250ml, so anything under this price I advise not to buy.

How much please?

Not normally a fan of cheap brands but after it was recommended I tried Avon's version of this stuff, along with their shampoo and conditioner and I was really impressed. Far better results than my old £30 + a bottle Moroccanoil.

home bargains cheaper,,

The one in Boots is different, you can easily tell that from the packaging. Just look at the ingredients for this when you go in B&M/Lidl/Poundstretcher/Wilkinsons and you'll see what I mean (_;)
As I said, this Xpel company copy well known brands/make fancy packaging but just fill it with cheap and nasty ingredients.

Where from? Thanks.

Those of you who think this particular product is good you're very much misinformed, go and find the pure Argan oil or a product with a higher Argan oil content.

it s like thinking buying Caviar or Champagne from Poundshop 8(

poundland has 30ml one in also shampoo, conditioner and hair mask.
really good stuff

£1 in Asda for the shampoo

The one linked to Boots is also available at superdrugs on offer for 6.99 I think. Made in UK by hairxpertise but I can't see what the oil percentage is.
I use this stuff on my face as a moisturiser and it really good at controlling my otherwise oily face.
I also use it on my coarse and brittle beard. It hasn't made the hairs any stronger so I just use it to neaten up my beard. I use it every morning.

Superdrug one is different again or they have changed the packaging.

I don't know why I am bothering to share this info particularly, but here we go.

Argan oil's fatty acid profile is one that allows the fatty acids to somewhat penetrate the hair. However it does not have the best fatty acid profile for this. Babassu oil is best for this, closely followed by Palm Kernel oil, which is/was the main ingredient of Ojon hair products. Coconut oil is the next closest, which is cheap and plentiful. You can get a huge tub of pure the chemically extracted stuff for under £2, or cold pressed organic coconut oil for about £4. Why not give it a bash instead. Saturate your hair with it then wash out with normal shampoo.

Lidi Xpel Argan Oil Ingredients:

Dimethiconol, Cyclomethicone, Trisiloxane, Paraffinum Liquidum, … Dimethiconol, Cyclomethicone, Trisiloxane, Paraffinum Liquidum, Helianthus Annus Seed Oil, Argania Spinosa Kernal Oil (Argan Oil) Tocopheryl, Acetate, Parfum, Benozyl Alcohol, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Geraniol, Hexyl Cinemal, Citronellol, Limonene, Benzyl Salicylate, Linalool, Alpha Isomethylionone, Citral.

I can't find the ingredients for Hair Xpertise Argan Oil from Boots. Inspires lots of confidence that.

I don't really care about the comparison between the two, but if I had to stake a stab the product in the OP annoys people, I would guess it's because it is labels as 'Argan Oil', but barely has any argan oil in it.

As you can see, the first three ingredients are types of silicones, which are unwanted by many people for various reasons, from build up and breakage, to being potential carcinogens. The 4th ingredient is liquid paraffin, which is essentially baby oil or laxative. Then we get to sunflower oil, which is just cooking oil. You can oil your hair with cooking oil, it will do something, but then why buy this? Then finally to some argan oil.

Then we have acetate, parfum (probably drying), alcohol which is definitely drying, defeating the point of the product. Then butylphenyl methylpropional which can cause contact dermatitis ...and I tired of writing this list now.

If you haven't got that you may as well mix back to black for tires, with cooking oil and spray it on your head, then I give up.

It's not even good value for money. For the amount of argan oil you get in this product, you would spend less buying a bottle of the pure oil, than buying many many packs of these.

I got mine from the bay but its looks home-made - you gotta be very careful buying - could be very expensive cooking oil for all I know - it does reduce frizz on hair though - I'm very tempted to swallow hard and go for QVC offering which is sure to be genuine stuff
