At least they wont cover your pots and pans in scratches and ruin non stick coatings.
Does the top of the spoon burn off if you stir the food with the spoon on the hot pan that is on the hub on cooker

Is it for only non stick pots and pans or will it scrape the metal pans

The head on the masher will come right off the first time you use it on a potato in a anger... I'm astonished they are still selling that crap 15 years on from when I got that awful set...

LOL

That is *exactly* my experience of a set I got from Argos around the same time.

I can't say for sure that this is the same set but I bought it as a friend was giving me a crash course in cooking.

My extensive kitchen equipment at the time comprised a set of pans and a (terrible) tin opener. When my friend proposed Colcannon as our first dish there was need of a potato masher. Back in those callow days I thought that Argos would be fine...

Cut to kitchen with a pan of boiled potatos. I start to mash and pull up from a downstroke with only the Y part of the masher in my hands. My friends laughter still rings in my ears.

I think that we abandoned that attempt and settled for liquid dinner.

Probably ideal for a landlord "equipping" student accommodation but don't do it to yourself or anyone you care for. YMMV.

Thank you Heat Added but not too much, or the utensils might melt.
