I think this is a great deal it is £70 off the Apple price. For up to three years from your computers original purchase date, the AppleCare Protection Plan gives you direct, one-stop access to Apples award-winning telephone technical support for questions about Apple hardware, Mac OS X, iLife, and iWork. And you get global repair coverage for your Mac - both parts and labor - through convenient service options.

*Not suitable for 15 inch MacBook Pro but suitable for all MacBook Airs and the 13 inch MacBook Pro and MacBook Pro 13 inch retina - APPLE confirmed this directly to me. There is no other AppleCare for sale specifically for the 13 inch MacBook Pro Retina this is the one needed. The AppleCare for the MacBook Pro 15 inch is £279.*

pointless scam! You do not need any care plan if your laptop breaks and you did not cause it, you can get it repaired or refunded under the sales of goods act for free....

oo look, a warranty scheme that protects you for the amount of time the law required manufacturers to do it for free! i suppose thought if you have bought an apple product, you can afford to waste yet more money on another unnecessarily expensive product.

SOGA only covers for faults present at the time you bought it, after 6 months the onus is on you to prove to the retailer the fault is inherent, good luck with that!

Don't listen to the haters above, this is an excellent deal. Most windows laptops will be dead after three years, with apple care you could be 2.9 years into the laptop and have parts replaced, no faffing sending your laptop off, just bring it in to the shop.

Apple products are expensive but are good value. You never see apple fans trolling windows threads, funny that.

Thanks. I just bought this. Great deal! Used applecare before and got first class, no hassle service. Worth every penny at this price

Happy to help glad some people find this deal useful. It is a great deal and it helps sell your mac if you have any AppleCare remaining at the time of sale. I have used AppleCare before and the staff fixed my MacBook Air very quickly and the Genius were kind and professional. My dad dropped my MacBook Air whilst I was in hospital and Apple fixed the damage free of charge despite it being my dads fault.

I respect the opinion of those who don't believe this is a good deal. I appreciate all the deals posted on this site as the ones I needed have helped me and my family greatly.

Cheaper and only £110 here … Cheaper and only £110 here https://uk.webuy.com/product.php?sku=885909117093 9 in stock

There is very little stock and non in Scotland at all. I am glad I got it from Argos as I know it is being delivered from tomorrow and if there are any issues the staff will be happy to help. The few times I have been in Cex the staff have been rude, unpleasant and unhelpful. The staff looked liked they were mostly students. I reluctantly sold a couple of items in there and they said I should be able to get X for them and when I went back in after the tested them I got offered less even though they had no faults. It was extremely annoying and after two bad experiences I wont go back in again.

free if your a student and buy your overpriced laptop direct from apple, you also get 15% off the laptop which brings it down to the still extortionate price of £850

Excellent deal for those that understand these things - for the others? Get well soon.

A responsible and customer focused manufacturer and retailer such as apple wont quibble in that fashion. Its just a scam to get the gullible or the risk averse to shell out a premium on products that already attract a premium due to the manufacturer and their exceptional customer service.

The link is an online deal and they will deliver to Scotland, I did say there where 9 in stock, for all you know this may be more than Argos have available and it does say NO store collection on the Argos website.

You say the CEX staff look like students? well good on them if they are, working as well learning sounds like respectable people.

Yes it does lol

SOGA only covers you for 'inherent' faults, fror the first 6 months it's upto the retailer to prove the fault is not inherent, after 6 months it's upto you to prove the fault was 'inherent' ie. present when the item was bought.

Burnt once with a turd 1 year warranty on a premium product and burnt twice paying for a pointless care plan.Apple certainly know how to make money.Wouldnt buy any electrical goods that didn't have a standard 2 year warranty especially not apple.
