This has got to be a bargain, and all15 reviews suggests its of a very good quality. Reduced from £49.99 to £19.99. Seems like there is plenty of stock around.

Appears from Amazon: Can power using mains or 4 AA Batteries. There is also an alarm, snooze, sleep timer, and a headphone socket. Also described as light weight. So perhaps good for outings away (camping etc)

Product Description: -
The retro design of this Bush Union Jack DAB Radio and the various features of this leather effect finished device makes this the perfect audio platform. The portable radio can be easily transported using the handle or you can simply plug into a mains socket to begin listening to your favourite stations.

Looks good so reserved one....

It's tacky, that's why there's plenty of stock around.
Boo Perrioll : )
Worth a punt. If bad can go back. It appears a leather like front.
What store/site in title, please.
I think its a really good deal..... £65 on Amazon.
Some specs that aren't listed is that it has an earphone socket and has an alarm function with snooze.

Heat added.
Need a new DAB radio so have reserved this. Thanks OP. Heat added.
Reserved Thanks OP
Seriously I took this straight back, the sound is terrible no bass and it is cheaply made. Just my honest opinion not even worth it at this price.
good find and good reviews, not worth RRP but for £20 heat added
Kinda like it, but can't get the lunch box look out of my head.

Tried mine out tonight and picks up every station going, unlike my old one. Sound is decent too. Would recommend it.
I have ordered 2 - one for me and one an xmas present.
Whats the unit like davldsr?
Bush BAD! It's a union flag, it's not being displayed on a sea going vessel ;-)

It was a little smaller than I expected, mainly because it has just the one speaker compared to the two speakers of my old radio. Seems very well put together though. Picks up all stations too unlike my old one so can listen to Kerrang, Xfm etc.

Pleased with the sound quality too, was very clear and goes up to a good volume.

what are your thoughts on the 'base' on the radio. as one user said it was very bad (see page 1 of thread). thanks
The bass? I didn't think the sound was that flat. Certainly isn't an issue for me but maybe it depends on what type of music you listen to and what you're using it for. I just have it in the kitchen for something to listen to.
I'll probably have a proper go tonight at turning volume up to see what it sounds like at higher volumes. Something like this is never going to have loads of bass though but for me the sound quality is a non issue.
Original price on Amazon £99.00 now £60.00, now £20 quid in Argos, seems a mighty drop. Are there two versions of this radio as in power. Faux leather front, can't expect leather for that price. Ordered one for a stocking filler, off to collect mine now.
Lol you have got to be kidding me. I cannot even begin to imagine the sort of pokey **** house this would live in
good reveiws
Bought it, you get what you pay for. Not worth anymore than £20, but it's ok for a stocking filler.
I think some people are very picky.
It's very light weight, compact and in my opinion the sound and base is pretty good. Can run on mains or 4 AA batteries.
Not a Bose speaker but great for use in kitchen, bedroom, camping etc.
Mate liked it to and so went and purchased the last one at St Neots
:-)
The perfect solution for resolving the Belfast flags dispute. Going to buy a truck load and be quids in.
