Bit silly all these pizza ovens. They're not exactly the real deal. You can get the same results with just two pizza/bread stones in the oven. One for cooking on and one above the cooking surface to retain more heat and direct it downwards on your pizza. Won't set you back more than 20 quid.

How do you place a pizza stone above the pizza you're baking?

i can make my pizza look like charcoal without one of these!!

Probably better off getting one of those ferrari pizza ovens off Amazon.

On an oven shelf...?!

I only have 3 height settings in mine, the stone on the rack above would emit next to nothing towards the pizza below??????

I have one of these and was advertised as a wood fired oven. It's not really designed to cook pizzas in it as there's no shelf to block the direct heat from underneath, just a few bars. I've stuck a big pizza stone in mine but still can't get them quite right. It works well as a smoker for pulled pork etc or general outdoor oven. The door is a bit dodgy and will warp when it gets hot. It's the kind of thing you will use a couple of times then leave to rust.

Sounds like you need a Mexican pizza oven ..... made from clay, so no rust.... and (at a squeeze) you could probably wedge it under the stairs once you've burnt a couple of pizzas to death X)

Just to advise these are now £74.99

I'm tempted to go for the uuni S2 though for now. They use wood pellets and only take 10 minutes to get to temperature. - once I get the garden renovated i may well go for the full on clay dome job though.
