Thats what the 16 day money back guarantee is for....

I spent £200 in there last night on a tv, but it is making a dodgy buzzing sound so will take back, refund, rebuy and get the voucher...

BTW, if you spend £200 do you get £20 or is £10 voucher the max?

£10 per transaction, so if you spent £500 you would only get £10, unless you split orders.

+ The money back guarantee is 30 days.

£10 max unless you spend the £200 in 2 x £100 transactions which may not be applicable in your case

Thats correct

Bryan,you owe me a tenner..lol

You can get round it by buying gift vouchers. Last year I bought 3 x £50 vouchers in separate transactions, getting £15 in vouchers, then used the vouchers to buy a PSP for my son & got another £10 voucher so I ended up with £25 vouchers in total! A bit of a pain to go in 4 times but worth it as I would have only got £10 in vouchers if I had bought the PSP in one transaction.:-D

done & dusted... Argos have closed that loophole - no more freebies when buying vouchers. BTW, I did that too :whistling:

I have £199.97 in vouchers... can i use that to buy more vouchers and get extra free vouchers?

if anyone can be bothered ... last year i ordered a wii and then cancelled before they shipped it out ... they didn't take any money from my card, but a week later, i got my £10 voucher in the post! if they are still as stupid this year i am sure you could apply the same principle, distance selling regulations and what not

Very clever!

One offer ends and another starts :x

Just reserved a few toys that are in one of their promotions, save 25% on toy brands but it says offer ends 21/10/08 so will the products I reserved be full price when I go instore tomorrow or still be on offer until the end of tomorrow when the store closes?

Thanks, I've been looking for some gift vouchers to buy items but I rather buy £50 worth, get a voucher and buy more, get more vouchers and save more, I love this site!

The price you pay for items reserved online is the price in the shop on the day you pay - so unlikley you'll get your 25% discount

argos.co.uk/sta…htm

Condition 11. States not to be used for the purchase of gift cards.

Think they changed this half way through the offer last year.

Still worth a try though

You should be ok, just explain that they where cheaper when you reserved them, even though the website states 'the price you pay is the price instore on the day' this isnt usually the case, and a supervisor should be able to overide it so you pay the reserved price.

25% discount on Toys is still active

I've posted it separately, but there is also a code for free delivery from Argos at the moment, for purchases of £100 or over. (AFD10). Valid until October 28th.

If your order or reservation falls short of the £50 or £100 minimum, There is This filler item for 65p. (Hot Wheels Single Die Cast Cars - 387/4958)

do you still get the vouchers if you purchase online

It's advertised on their website so I still think so. Last time I ordered online when this offer was on was 1-2years ago, but then the vouchers arrived, separately to the actual order delivery, with a covering letter about a week later. No idea if they send them with the item now ?
