As a budget coffee table I reckon this ikea one is better, it is slightly bigger and has a shelf

I have one the finish doesn’t last it scores very easy, it’s a solid table but you’ll be painting it regularly.

Yeah I agree, i have had mine over 2 years you can see the marks when close otherwise its okay but seems more sturdy then the Argos one posted on this deal

Yeah - we had one for years. Did damage easily but you could practically stand on it. Only replaced it because we wanted a folding one that had a smaller footprint. I suspect this argos one will not last but hey its £13 and potentially and easier trip than Ikea if you just want something to tide you over.
i had one of these and they're total crap. They are not sturdy and cheaply made. Spend a bit more money and get a cheap one from ikea.

i didn't even see your comment before posting mine and this is exactly the one i was thinking off. I have the large one and they're really sturdy. These argos ones are rubbish,

Thanks this is better too
Could this be used as a computer desk for a very short person?
£13.32? Is that how much Argos will pay you to take one of these home?
These are terrible quality and break easy

1658 reviews only 40 negative ..this looks to be a pretty decent coffee table !! So its not total rubbish as you vehemently claim! maybe stop sleeping on it at night
My landlord in my first rental definitely used this sort of quality for most of the furnishings....must have cost him £100 total to do a 2 bed furnished flat!

Yeah my IKEA Lack's finish hasn't worn well. Especially with my kids spilling stuff on it.
If this is similar to the homebase table then, its extremely light which is perfect for me. I move stuff around for a makeshift studio or exercise room and I can pick this up with one hand.
The box it comes in probably looks better as a coffee table.
Just got one, using it as a stand for the guinea pig cage as it's the ideal size and you can't really see it bar the legs.

Sturdy enough but I wouldn't use it as actual furniture.
