.. after a look around, the most relevant information to be found was on the 'Gloucester Nest of 3 Solid Wood Tables;, which are from the same range (as there is no helpful info.. on the Coffee Table )
... so made of rubberwood.
Thanks.
Rubberwood is not my first choice for quality or looks...
I usually buy oak or maple - mostly from JL.
I won't be investing in this.

whatever suits..
Is rubberwood furniture durable?
The lumber has a dense, coarse grain which makes it unsuitable for use in “finefurniture,” but it is strong and cheap which makes it ideal for lower priced imported products. Rubberwood is more often found in smaller furniture items than in large case goods. Rubberwood actually does come from rubber trees.
Is rubber wood hard or soft?
Rubberwood is a low-cost, light, tropical hardwood timber. In many aspects, it is comparable to teak. Rubberwood is derived from the rubber tree. ... It is a moderately hard, medium-textured, straight-grained wood that is approximately the same density as ash and maple hardwood.
Rubberwood is better quality than wood vaneer (ie) chipboard so gets thumbs up here
