Been looking around for one of these for a while, this seems like a bargain.

Kingsize bed frame with pneumatic TV lift bracket stuck in the end, press a button on the side of the bed and out it comes!

Phoned argos this morning as there is no info on the website as to which TV is included, they said it is a Bush 24 inch LCD TV. Not a bad price for both!

Hygena Hollywood Leather Effect Kingsize TV Bed Frame.
Designed to hold an up to 32in LCDTV (sold separately), this stylish chocolate brown leather effect bedstead comes complete with a fully pneumatic mechanism hidden away at the foot end compartment of the bed. Simply attach your 32in LCD TV to the mechanism and watch your favourite programmes from the comfort of your bed. There is a compartment in the side rail to accommodate DVD players, satellite boxes or games consoles, and a simple cable tidy in the TV foot end (cables and extensions required for these connections are not provided). Mounting plate is VESA compliant with most LCD's TV's up to 32in with a 200mm rear mounting centre.

Bed frame:

•Includes sprung wooden slats.
•Size W162, L241, H104cm.
•Clearance between floor and underside of bed 2cm.
•Packed flat.
•Self assembly: 2 people recommended.
•EAN/Barcode: 5028735930565.

It does say sold seperately in the text but argos have confirmed one is included in this deal.

Forgot to mention, don't forget Quidco!

I sell the mechanisms and for a bottom end one you are looking at about £150 for a top end £600-£700. So with the bed and the TV thrown in this is a pretty good price.

See this in store, not a bad looking bed but poorly made. Slates were awful and looked weak. The Pillar caps and Tv cover kept on falling off and didn't look worth the money. A lot of money for a faux leather slated bed. Won't vote though as the reduction may be to someone's liking

The only review states exactly that, slats weak and tv cover keeps falling off.

Thanks for the insight. How are the independent systems fitted to the bed?

Must be a common fault then, cheap wood with staple gun nails holding the pillar caps didn't exactly show any signs of quality build to me

The Mechanisms are just screwed into place on a bracket.

I have a couple of customers who put a 3 drawer cabinet at the bottom of a bed or under a window. Reduce the size of the drawers inside instead of being full depth they take about 100mm off and then the TV sits behind the drawers.

The mechanism can be installed either way round.

Hope that makes sense

360notout, do you have a website you sell the mechanisms, I love the idea of putting one in a set of drawers. I can't pm you as not got the privilege yet - thanks

So i have this bed on order and by the sounds of it maybe a load of crap? I paid £518 for the double with 24" tv included so not bad price but im hearing that it is not automatic by button and you have to pull it up manually? To the guys that have seen the bed in the flesh can you confirm if its electric lift with button or manual handed. I may even ring them and cancel as i have been waiting 35 days already for it as they say there waiting on one conponent to show up.
