Do u need subscribe to office to have free trail

Sounds really good but I don't like the fact that it's one year subscription. Why has Microsoft done that?

All software is going that way. Adobe done this a few years ago and MS are just playing catchup.

It's the way that most expensive software is going. A full version of office is very expensive- cheapest version iirc is over £100 and the equivalent of this is probably double that! So a lot of companies lease it to you. See also Adobe products.

Actually makes a lot of sense.

Isn't office 365 online only?

To be honest I like to have a software that I can use offline too.

Office 97 and office 2000 were and are the best, I don't understand the new ones.

I only use word and excel.

Heat added for price

Out of stock for delivery!

I use Apache open office

I think "all" is probably a bit strong. Most software isn't, or at least hasn't and maybe even won't, although yes Adobe has done the same.

I wouldn't mind if it sticks to £20 a year. It's when it's £70 or something around that figure that gets to me.

Does the trick to convert a Personal subscription to Home still work?

Does the trick to convert a Personal subscription to Home still work?

Yes I've just done it, don't pay by PayPal as it takes Microsoft 48 hours to approve the payment as done manually

the difference with Microsoft is that you still have the option to buy the apps in the normal way.

this deal is a no-brainer because of the storage. nobody else will give you a TB for 20 quid

Thanks, my work place have online outlook with online office and it's not very good.

I will settle for a old copy of office 2000, atleast it won't expire.

OK get technical, big software programs or operating systems. Apps like whatsapp require a yearly payment.

You buy up to 3 years of 1 user 365, load them on to 1 account then buy a single upgrade to the 4 user version and apply this to the same account and boom you have 4 user for 4 years license.
