So, any good??

I have the U135DX and they are great little machines with excellent build quality. Not quite sure if these are the 6 cell battery versions and what the difference is between the U135 and the U135DX apart from the operating system.Mine has XP whereas this has Windows 7.

Reviews get 4 out 5, you dont get many netbooks new for under £150 you're normally looking at refurbished at this price so very good deal with the voucher plus potential cashback

I suspect it is the 3 cell version but still its under £150 new

Looked at spec the 6 cell is 1.2 kg the same as this one so may be 6 cell
Have a 9 cell one batt sticks out bit it lasts about 6 hours

Could this be a potential Hackintosh too? The older MSI winds are a favourite for that and tend to hold their value really well because of it.

Will it play 1080p footage does anyone know please?

Am hovvering over buy !

is the link broken?....good deal heat given.

Picked up one of these 18 months ago for £100 more than deal. Great little machine for casual use (browsing etc).around the house. Battery life not amazing but everything else is excellent. Fairly easy to drop in a bit more cheap RAM and HDD too. At this price would be ok to let the nippers use it.

Nice deal.

i have to, they are great

Just ordered 2 for the kids for xmas.
Was able to use the first £10 gift card code for the second order but had to pay 2 x £5.95 delivery.

Great little machine, comes with word and excel (not full versions)

I have the msi u100 has been going strong almost 2 years with daily use. Great machines, super hot price!

Free delivery code is .... AFD just order and used it

dont forget topcashback also cracking deal Thanks Ops My little girl be happy for Xmas

and ten pound voucher too

Great, amother N455-based netbook that does nothing I want to do at about the same price as the other N455-based netbooks that do nothing I want to do. At least it has eleven hours of battery life... Oh, wait, only four... It's so thick, I can't even use it as a wedge to keep doors open. One day the Intel N455 CPU will be a distant bad memory. Come on AMD, this is one CPU battle you can win, it's not like your laptop computers are selling terribly well, so you won't be biting into that market by releasing more netbooks with some actual power to work with 1080 video and the ability to play games. Forgive my sarcasm, guys, if it had much longer real world battery life, I'd give it a warm for surfers and writers.

Great build quality, nice and heavy and my dogs have even jumped on the keyboard and screen and its still fine. Battery life aint great but if it bothers you so much then buy a 9 cell off ebay like I did. But they do do u135 that come with bigger batterys so keep an eye out.

Thanks, one ordered You can use code AFD for free standard delivery to(_;)

You cant hackintosh this one.

I wouldn't call 4 hours of battery life "staggering".

Humangrub

How much memory can this be taken to?

Ha ha, first comment ever here and I will answer it myself: Max 2GB it seems.

Great deal thanks purchased for sons xmas pressie!

Resolution is 1024 x 600 pixels so even if it can handle the file it will have to scale down the picture.

£10 voucher deal ends tuesday.

I have one too - decent little machine and great for taking on holiday, got XP installed on mine, stripped down to the basics so it runs nice and quick.

Keep your expectations down and run software that is 5+ years old and yer laughing

You're right, I should chill out! But if I was talking a netbook on holiday, I would want it to have double to tripple the battery life, per charge. It's a low powered netbook but only four hours? I don't see £150 for an entry level netbook being a hot deal, is all. For those that are happy, I am very happy for them, though.

Sounds good, got one for gf.

can you play on cbeebies etc with these laptops?
