2kg? Do you even lift bruh?!

My brush doesn't weigh 2kg. I assume these are handweights? I don't really know what they are but the price reduction made me post, maybe helpful to someone who knows what they are and wants to buy them?

I think Ellie is a lady not a 'meat head' and whether she lifts or not this is a good price compared to what I've seen around

bag of sugar is 1kg or 2.2 lbs. most experts recommend starting at 8 kg to be of any benefit.

thanks for unintentionally strengthening my point

Good deal. Shame the heavier ones don't have the same sort of discount.

aldi has 12kg ones for £12.99

At 2kg as per a comment above this is 'hand weight' weight (if that makes sense)! For that reason you would be better of buying something with a different shape for adding load to cardio workouts. These are maybe too light for kettlebell swings etc?

Probably the only workout ur middle leg gets :P

Reserved some 4 kg ones

Lol
Theres about £25 of MI fittings there and thats not including the weights.

6kgs cost £8.98 for 2. just bought some. thanks op. heat

These would make nice cuff links

These weights have really given my **** a 6 pack....

"most experts recommend" sorry but I don't agree with that.

Good experts will tailor weight to the specific exercise being performed and the person doing the exercise. There's no shame working with low weights if that is the right weight for the job. There are all kinds of people lifting weights - young, very old, mega fit people, people with chronic injuries and so on.

It's better to start with a weight that is too light rather than risking injury with something that's too heavy. Having said that, if you don't get the right weight to push yourself, your not going to see any results and you will probably just waste time flapping your arms about before quitting from boredom or lack of results.

just missed 2x20kg and 16kg on ebay £46!! my phone lost signal when bidding!! so gutted!! zero bids until the last minute, i thought i'd be picking them up tonight.

What would you need 2 kg for? I'm a 5 foot female and the lightest I use is 6kg.

These are too big (not heavy) aldi ones are better, 2kg/4kg £4.99, 6kg/8kg £8.99, 12kg £12.99 if your store still has them. Similar ones available in B&M 3kg £3.99, 6kg £9.99. Or Home Bargains have some too but not sure on prices.

argos site is awful, wont add to basket

I can confirm this, I work in the fitness industry. You wouldn't go much below a 6kg.

No it was about £8 for the fittings and now I can add as much or as little weight as I want so it saves buying a full set.

If you're out of shape and start with an 8KG you'd probably do yourself an injury.

you can buy 2 6kg Davina kettle bells for 7.48, for those wanting heavier cheaper.

I use these and do hundreds of reps to keep fit and good cardio 8kg is not a good starting weight.
