Good for walking the dog I suppose.
Midnight or day?
Pretty sure that's the same 49" Toshiba TV that Tesco were offering for £269 on Black Friday over a year ago! This year Tesco offered a 55" Toshiba for £299 which is far better value!

Dont be silly. All effected products would have been withdrawn from retailers. That is the 1st step. (Oh & you forgot Indesit)

365 days a year sale. What you miss today, you'll pick up cheaper tomorrow metaphorically speaking.

Silly? It takes time for these 3-4 companies to find generic faults with their products, which is normally based on customer complaints as they don't really have great quality control. Grenfell tower fire was caused by a faulty product manufactured by one of these companies. I'd personally buy a reputable company's product, such as Samsung or Bosch or a better brand. Just my two cents.

Bosch, Neff & Seimens (the same group) had one of the biggest recalls of 500,000 dishwashers that had a tendency to burst into flames.

That is my 50 cents. But you do not hear of that. It is not trendy.

Candy have not been in those recalls & are an entirely different firm. Subsidiary of Haier.
Does anybody know what time it starts as website isn't giving a time? Dunno if anyone works in Argos.... Worth an ask?
Merry Christmas everyone

It’s Siemens by the way, would be interested in any evidence for that statement.
At £199 Garmin 645 is a good deal. Seems to be circa £300 everywhere else.

All appliances have their issues and these are some of the biggest so the volumes are higher, I think the point is how they dealt with it, decent brands like Bosch NEFF Siemens did their recall straight away and went OTT whereas whirlpool, Beko, Hoover seem to have come under criticism for the amount of actual fires/deaths. Whirlpool group (Hotpoint/Indesit etc) in particular have been slated the time taken to do the start/complete the recall.

Hisense 50" at 299 or Toshiba 49"at 269? Anybody have any opinions?
